Good morning eAmerica, if you'll recall, three days ago, I announced my candidacy for the office of President of these eUnited States. Read my platform, and if you have any questions for me feel free to find me on IRC, post in the comments here or ask on my question thread on any of the major party forums.

Before I do anything else, I want to announce my Cabinet, I spent a fair bit of time compiling what I believe to be the best group of players to lead this country forward. And thanks to all of those who applied, the initiative is great, and even if you didn't make it onto this list, don't be discouraged there are always still plenty of government jobs available, keep trying. So, without further adieu, presenting, with limited commercial interruption, the Paul Proteus for Poteus Cabinet Special~

Executive
I already touched on these two in my last article, tl;dr they're pretty great.

Vice President: Saraht0ga

State:
The State Department has never been more important than now, focusing our role in CoT, and navigating our relations with members of the breaking down EDEN alliance will take skill and affect the eUS for months to come. Because of that, I chose someone with experience in the department I could trust, Dr. Luis. And aiding him will be Derphoof, returning from last month; Alexj1890 an experienced and underutilized player and Mr Wonka who has been working his way up through the State Dept. ladder.

Defense
I'd like to change up the Defense department a bit this month. Bringing in DMV3 as SoW, someone who has been involved heavily in AIM and is also a very dedicated American player, who I hope will take over SoW hitting the ground running and improving communication between government and MUs. Aiding him will be a team of his own handpicked deputies. I'm also listing an NSC Chairman, one recommended by the current Def. Department as ready to help decide American strategy in the middle of our current war, Lemon Vodka.

Interior
Interior is staying in solid hands, during the past month Othere has fearlessly led the Department to new heights. My cabinet features many departures from last months, but in the case of interior the expression "if it ain't broke, don't fix it applies". To help him, I've enlisted RaccoonGoon and SColbert, two supremely talented players who will keep this department more interior than ever.

After Mazzy's revamp of Education, it just made sense to take Wild Owl, who has been heavily involved, and promote him to the top, and see how he can continue to improve the department. As a deputy, future star Ludonarr will be assisting him in educating the masses.

Media
Coming off two terms directing Media, this is a department I'd really like to shake up. With Hale26 busy with party work, I decided to entrust this to Jakov. He may be a newer player, but he is an amazing writer, and his ability to write engaging articles is the jolt of energy whpr needs. Still, experienced War Reporter Hale26 will serve as a deputy keeping the paper on track, as will Tyler Buublar an up and coming writer of great proportions. Should be a great month for Media if I'm elected.

DHS
For Homeland Security, I'm keeping Kody5 on, who's done an excellent job keeping eAmerica safe, and bringing on Malarkey, an expert in Fed security who will be an invaluable addition.

Treasury
Unless the economic module changes drastically, I see no reason to meddle with this.

Side note, I was going to write about my platform, but due to eRepublik being down for me the vast majority of the time I planned to spend on this, I didn't have time. I thought it'd be better to get my cabinet out now than wait any longer, my next article will have more substance.
