Proposal for an important change in THA: creation of Military Orders.
From time to time brothers may lose their Faith and leave, but Theocracy is a reality that keep growing, even if slowly.
Slowly: surely a problem in Theocracy is a slow recruitment, probably because few peoples are in charge of recruitment and management of the whole system.
Currently, our ability in militarization growing is related to our military organization and hierarchical structure: the Theocratic Holy Army and several Theocratic Forces, each of them coordinating a certain number of Theocratic Soldiers under the responsibility of a Commander.
I believe that a limitation in our military organization is that the Commander is the responsible for his Forces and its Theocratic Soldiers, but do not actually lead them.
Does a Commander send messages to his Soldiers? Probably yes.
Does a Commander take care of the growing (recruitment) of his Forces? Probably not.
Does a Commander have a perfect idea of the damage his Forces can achieve? Probably not.
Does a Commander have a close relation (daily, weekly) with each of his Soldiers? Probably not.
Today I would like to propose a new model to make Theocracy growing quickly and in an efficient way: the introduction of Military Orders.
Each Military Order is an organization that goes beyond the pure military functions. It is a group of Theos with a specific internal organization, partially detached. Each Order has an identity different from the others. It is driven by a Commander, a Maestro, a King, a Corsair, a Pirate, a Knight, a Monk, but also a board, a court … whatever title the leader(s) want to have! The Order must have an identity, unique.
And its leadership is in charge for its growing: the leadership is in charge for new recruitment, for the involvement of each of its members, for intelligence activities, for the efficient of its Soldiers, for their ranking, to open forums (if they like so), and any other activity (give freedom to your fantasy).
Show your identity, recruit, create your own motto, your own flag!
I am not proposing to split Theocracy in small projects: I am proposing to create small projects within Theocracy: each project with its own leadership with the desire to grow fast, to have new members and to be as efficient as possible. But each Order is still under the direct command of Theocratic Holy Army.
There is no need to create new ORGs for now in order to manage Orders, but we can start using the current Theocratic Forces ORGs until we have a better idea of how the new model may grow.
Everybody willing to create its own Order can do it: this means that you are able to gather together at least 10 peoples and to lead this group, to make it grows.

It is just a(nother) way to decentralize power, to have lodges/orders with their own identify/ideals (role playing) and still be part of the same brotherhood/fraternal organization.

It's good to put some responsibility on other, new people, though this leaves you with less power and less control over them, so you have to trust them, and you can't trust everybody 😉
Stigmatized, I agree again with you: you can't trust everybody.
But to be honest you can't trust everybody in any business/military organization. And funny enough, who stab your back is normally the person more close to you. So if you don't trust anybody, you just play alone.
Trust is a two ways channel: if you have have power over someone you have to trust them at the same way they trust you.
True, though in rl when you have power you have the capability to instill fear, and this makes the subordinates less likely to betray you, but i guess this does not apply to this game. 🙂 Here there's nothing you can do about it, if you really want to feel safe you can only try to surround yourself with people you really know(from rl maybe) or people you believe you can trust 😉.
About the most common backstabbers it's true, they suck up to you, make you think their your friends, so you least suspect them, and than they strike 😃

Letting other random people find 10 other guys and create its own group is kind of inviting PTOers. Why don't we let the current COs of the separate THA forces be responsible for the recruitment and they will be the head. Then we can see who's the best 🙂

@Ali Mohammed, it is not "other random people". My suggestion is that peoples from the community (Theocracy) create their own smaller communities with certain level of autonomy.
To make an example: are you able to create and lead a group? In which Soldiers are not assigned to you, but you choose them, you recruit them, or even better they choose to be leaded by you. Great, do it!
Is it an invite to PTO? No, because I trust you. And if you want to backstab Theocracy (read the comments I had with Stigmatized) you can do it in any moment, no matter if I am inviting you or not.
It is a matter of trust. And to have a successful brotherhood trust is important. No matter that, everyone in any moment is a potential betrayer.
