Prince Harry Patriot Act 2016
The Patriots act will inspire team work and let the True Patriots of the UK have a greater say, this act will reward hard working Patriots whilst building a framework the country can prosper from.
Today I will offer a total solution but we need to face reality you will read many things about reform but when you have the same people reforming the same thing you end up with the same results Many off these ideas wont be new to you, but the reality we need to face is this, we have decreasing numbers and many active accounts in the UK are pretty weak we have a few good tanks and together fighting we can win rounds on our own, but not the total battle.
Respect on the battlefield is not given you have to earn it and a country is only as strong as it armies and supporting funds.
Let me take my unit Legion for example, we now do more damage than 33 countries due this this we are attract members from all over the world to join us I wouldn't say in great numbers right but we are getting a few good fighters each week, the more damage a unit does the more powerful it is, the more it attracts players to join, so I would think the smart move would be all smaller nations in our alliance join into one unit ,also many small units single units have to really disband if they don't they are not team players and not Patriots.
Later on I will address in my eyes what it take to be a true patriot, but now I must touch on taxes many of us in the UK to win public votes and attract members to our respected parties have called for low taxes we all know this needs to change we need to look to countries like America who are building large reserves up, right now we can't protect our country and money has been given in trust to respected citizen we need to build not just our armies but a tangible source of income I know this has been tried before but we need to start building companies though trusted citizens along with high taxes we need to have millions to make sure we are credible force in this game we need to introduce a tax rate of from 10-15%, the more we have coming in the more companies we can buy we have to look to a long term plan.

If the UK had control of it's 12 original regions (with a stable base of citizens and VAT / Import tax at current levels);
10% Work Tax - An estimated £40,000.00 a day
15% Work Tax - An estimated £60,000.00 a day.
We have been sitting on money and not using it for combat orders
Lets just look at this we have an investment of 1,000,000 that 2500 gold into 10 gold the cost of a Salt Peter mine is 250 mines t 0.07 that would give us around 42,875 cc a week profit after 23 weeks during these 23 weeks each day with the profits we buy another 2 mines a day we would have a total of 572 mines at current rate of 0.07 from around 200 k of weapons raw marital that is around 98,000 cc a week profit. This is all on 100% Bonus.
So we have 98,000 cc a week more and have higher taxes generating from 40,000 to 60,000cc a day , not only should be be raising more funds to help ourselves but also to protect our allies setting combat orders does earn respect on the battlefield and if a country knows you are powerful they will have 2nd thoughts about attacking.
I will now move on to Parties this is the biggest problem in the UK and maybe in the game we need to be smarter than other countries and again the key work is team work the parties system is used to benefit some it also causes so much divide.
So we will disband congress and give total democracy to the uk with only good patriots allowed to vote, in elections we see 200 votes but when you look on the battlefield you only see a handful of fighters fighting for the UK, Also in the media our top articles only get around 30-35 votes most the time , A Good Patriot is someone who does their bit for the UK why should we allow non patriots a say on our country? why should we allow players who don't fight and do their duty a voice? Of course we can look into individual cases for real strength trainers and high tax payers.
This would put the game back in the hand of the True Patriots, I think a true patriot is a player who logs in once a day and completes their daily order fighting for our us or our allies, if you love your country fight for your country it's as simple as that it takes 5 minutes to complete, this is the minimum the game ask from you. I think this would also help players interacting with the game we are losing too many players.
Patriots need to be rewarded for fighting the cost of tanks is sky high, after 23 weeks in the Patriot act we would have more income some of this would be set aside into supplying our boys on the battlefield, with food and tanks.
I fear we are losing players due to them not getting enough supplies,I think it the duty of government to supplies it loyal fighters.
So in short my act will disband congress and let all active players have a vote on national decisions this would put an end to party politics , put an end to many multi's being used, we get more UK players fighting and feeling pride for the nation along with building a stronger military present in the game.
We should all be good Patriots we should all have a voice we should all do our duty, we should work as one and become a team the stronger we are the further we will go for too long have we been lead in the dark by game mechanics and party feuding while our country gets weaker and we lose our way, now is time to embrace one another put our petty differences aside cos if we don't we will fall apart with players being disinterested and disillusioned our country is not serious.
Lets not witness a total collapse while our enemies like France get stronger, working as a team we can do with a long term plan and vision to succeed.
We do have Hope and this is though the Price Harry Patriot Act I have given a rounded guide I don't use fancy words or try to baffle you I give it to you straight an honest act for honest members, if you believe in this vision, if you believe in team work, Total democracy is the answer, support the Prince Harry Patriot Act and together we will make a Great Britain

You mention using the money to build more companies, but who's gonna be running them? High tax innit, not many people are gonna be willing to pay megatax running all those.
These are the fine points of course that would be refunded that is common sense
as a medium level player it would suit me to gain more companies for the Nation !!
I fully support much higher taxes, as I have done before - bonuses more than make up for any tax that people pay. For me - taxes would need to reach 24% before i was making less of a profit than i do with no bonuses and 1% tax.

the sad fact is really that everyday we lose players. Some countrys due to lack of support, like you said, supplies are important!! I used to spend day's and nights supplying during important wars. Now we just set CO's, but that only fits the old players with tons of strenght and rank.
In terms of politics, patriots are needed. I've seen in many countrys people just fighting for they personal interest instead of nations long term prosperity, and thats the beggining of the end for a country!!

Some interesting ideas. I like the part about buying factories and earning more CC for the country that way. Getting to the point where we can afford to supply fighters with weapons and food also sounds good.
A few points for discussion though:
How would we tell who has completed their DOs each day?
What constitutes not doing this "every day"? Does missing one login/DO a month disqualify you? Missing one a week?
Also, unless people are willing to buy the Infantry kit every month, forcing them to fight every day will not give us the strongest military we can get, it will result in a large number of weak D3 and D4 fighters. I had to spend 18 months not fighting to get to the point where I can now swing D3 battles when I need to.
And how do we avoid disenfranchising players who contribute outside of the battlefield - people who are active in the media and help with player retention that way, for instance? Or those who work hard in government month after month, like Huey George? (Not saying Huey specifically doesn't pull his weight on the battlefield, just saying that whether he did or not I think he does enough good for the country that he deserves to have a say in how the country is run).

Firstly, for someone who wants to put differences aside and heal the divide or whatever you seem perfectly fine with plastering your name onto this system.
Gotta agree with you on WT, glad to see you come over to a more realistic view - We don't want to punish players, but if other places have higher taxes or have big donors or just a larger income we have to make up the shortfall.
Building WRM factories is fine. I do doubt the actual ability to get the WRM sold however. With less players overall and the economic players probably not reducing as much as they actually make money it could just lead to a massive amount of WRM lying around.
Using more money on CO is fine, what you've proposed would certainly allow more use of government CO's.
I'm all up for disbanding congress if a viable alternative is put into place.
I really have an opposition to restricting voting. I know you'll strawman me and say its because I want fake accounts controlling the eUK or some bs. But I simply do not trust your intentions behind that, you'll try and exclude people from voting who disagree with you, and as someone who would be a target of that if it were to happen, I can't back this now, even if the so-called intentions are pure. As I know what it will lead to. My view is that you can't win using the current system so you want a system which is tailored to your strengths, which is why you built up Legion.
The fighters of Legion mostly do not get involved in the community and I believe they'll just vote how you tell them to.
Supplying fighters by the government, that's fine as well.

It's good to see you change your position on Work Tax, can remember you campaigning for lower taxes not a month ago. Finding new ways of getting income to the UK via companies is cool as well.
I disagree with 'total democracy' as it will inhibit decision making in the UK- if we only have 30-35 active accounts, why not just have them make the decisions? Congress- perhaps a smaller one- remains imo the best way to go about things- a reformed one with better public accountability has been suggested elsewhere.

Am I understanding you correct Prince Harry; When the French started the invasion we should have put up everything we had in the tressury for COs?
I am just a bit curious though as to what would happen when our coffers had run out and the french still had millions. We would not be able to pay for any MPPs and we would still be in this same situation.

This. Even if we did have a stupidly high tax rate, how do you combat insanely high COs? Throw more good money after bad? France had 10m CC to waste. We'd have needed a tax rate nearer 70% than 15% to even contemplate matching those levels.
