Presidential Update - Invasion and Scandal
Hey guys, two big things in Irish new today. In keeping with my beliefs I will give you the good news first and the bad news second.
1. Our invasion of the enemy state of " Rhode Island " will begin tomorrow at 12:00 erepublik time. Tomorrow is a day to wear your country's colors, drink a pint , and kill some eYanks ! As stated by our Co-Minister of Foreign Affairs Niall H, we are ready to assimilate Rhode Island into our great Irish empire. We have prepared plans to move Rhode Island and connect it with Eire. Once the connection is done the state name will be changed to " Rhode Ireland " also the capital city of Providence will be changed to " Pattonville " .
Irish Warriors , go out tomorrow and conquer ! because I want a city named after me
2. Im sure everyone has read PP's article on John Jay. Because this expose has come from someone as shady as PP and because of a number of hos sources are also of dubious character I can only rely on what I have seen from John Jay so far. While in Ireland John Jay has lived very quietly and apart. I invited him because of his experience to help with the MoD and he has done a lot of good work for us. I have seen nothing to indicate JJ has done anything wrong. However, I am now in correspondence with JJ going over these events and I am thinking about appointing a team to check the facts on this story. Until then however, I will keep JJ working as deputy in the MoD unless the MoD, Kit Fisto advises otherwise

Well at least I have some sunshine and a view... I wonder why the eUSA never pay attention to the North East. They mostly care about the West and South.
In addition to being great warriors and eaters of foreign children we Irish are also very financially savvy. This last trait is which played into our invasion of the state of Rhode Island. It costs different amounts of gold to attack each state so we picked the cheapest one
