Presidential Summation

Day 2,418, 20:05 Published in USA USA by Molly Emma

This song for your listening pleasure is directed at the next President of this great eNation:

Your Turn

I know that my media this term and last have been well short of acceptable. Shortly after beginning this term I found myself doing the work of several people in my job. This has left me with time to work with my cabinet in the forums and via IRC but little time to publish. I would like to apologize for the aforementioned dearth of media, and take a moment to go over some of the signature accomplishments my team and I have achieved this month. It’s been an intense two months and it will be with no small amount of relief that I step down, but it has been enjoyable and highly productive.

Let’s start with Pacifica. Mere days before the end of my first term, the eUSA lost its place in Sirius. As time has shown the sky did not fall on us. We have maintained a friendly working relationship with our former Alliance, and now we have begun to lay the framework for one of our own. Pacifica as it currently stands is our nation and Russia. However, the vision for Pacifica is for it to expand into exactly what the name implies: an alliance built around Pacific ring nations. I am confident in ongoing months we will be joined by other nations of the region that and join with us in an alliance of mutual respect and cooperation. I personally expect big things from our new Alliance and will look forward to its continued growth. We're going to have our cake and eat too.

My cabinet this month has been little short of amazing. No matter how talented and driven an individual is in this country you cannot adequately run things alone. From Lemi and his NSC team, DMJ and Rainy in the DoD, Trickstir and Delyruin retooling our vital Domestic programs and Departments in the Interior and Education, to Wild Owl working tirelessly to stay involved and abreast of events overseas for the State Department the wheels of government have kept on turning like a well oiled machine. This group truly deserves thanks from me and the nation. Not to exclude those who served in my first term cabinet I would like to publicly thank any and all who worked so hard for me and this country during my terms.

The results of the work put in by these individuals is apparent to any who will look for it. You have heard this theme before, but our borders are secure, our top 5 is safe, the PTO is shattered, our treasury is full, USAF is getting stronger and more efficicien by the day, we have started our own Alliance that we will be able to build with reliable partner nations, and last but most definitely not least we currently have FULL BONUSES!!! We have come so far in the last year or so I am truly proud to have played a part in helping our nation continue to cruise down the highway of prosperity. I wish the next President (whoever it is) the best of luck in the coming month(s). While I hesitate to enter the fray I would like to take a moment to thank DMJ for everything he has done for my administration during the last 2 months. He stepped up and into any role that was needed time and again. From interim SecMed to sitting in on international meetings to represent our country he has routinely answered the bell and would make a fine PotUS.

In conclusion I would like to thank the people of the eUSA for electing me not once but twice to the highest office/honor there is to be had in our nation. It’s a lot of time, work, and stress. However, it was very enjoyable and very rewarding. It is with relief but also a bit of bittersweet wistfulness that I step down after tomorrow, and watch someone new take the reigns of government. Thank you again eAmerica for everything! Good night and Happy 4th of July to you and your loved ones!
