Petition to NOT PAY ATLANTIS

Due to our attack on Mexico, we are bound by the laws of ATLANTIS to pay each member 100 gold for making the attack without the permission of the alliance. This old, broken system has not worked in the past, with Spain and Romania not paying for their own discretions.

Most members of ATLANTIS have recognized that this antiquated and worthless rule should not be enforced, with 5 out of 7 (with the UK and Poland voting for us to have to pay) votes being in favor of the US not having to pay out (special thanks to Sweden, which has proven to be extremely cool about the whole situation). However, due to a 4/5 majority ruling needed (which makes no sense based upon the number of members, and is mathematically absurd), the ruling stands that the US should pay out 100 gold to each member nation.

I formally protest giving out any of our gold to member nations, especially since:
1. We are at war and need our funds
2. Our treasury was raided, and we are just building up funds
3. One dissenting nation, the UK, has been sending in private citizen groups to fight against our troops in Mexico, even though we've backed them up plenty of times.

Please sign this petition, and let Uncle Sam know that his constituents will not accept throwing away our hard-earned gold, especially to the hypocritical nations in support of us doing so.
