Well, as most of you know, we have signed a peace treaty with PEACE. Now, most of you don't like it, but I think it was for the best. But before I can deiscuss the treaty, you will need to read it. It can be found here. Or for those of you too lazy to click the link, I will copy and paste the key points here. This is how Emerick wrote it:

"Key points of the treaty
-We will be giving California and Hawaii to Indonesia, and Alaska to Hungary. The fine for re-acquiring these regions is 5000g.
-All other regions will be purchased from their current holder at the following rate: 300g for high raw material regions, and 200g for all others.
-We have 4 months to pay all fees and fines.
-We will sign peace with France, Portugal, Indonesia, Russia, and Hungary.
-We will have a four month non-aggression pact with those same countries."

I know this looks bad, but before you say anything let me be the first to tell you, that we are still able to defend our allies. This treaty does not disable us from doing that. The fees are rough but if we can pull together as a country, then we will be able to pay off these debts.

Now let me take this treaty point by point.

"We will be giving California and Hawaii to Indonesia, and Alaska to Hungary. The fine for re-acquiring these regions is 5000g."
This is failry reasonable I think. It is a lot but I do not think it is overwhelming. Plus, I do not believe we have to buy back these regions. I think we should buy back California, but as for Alaska and Hawaii, I do not think it is worth the 5000g to buy them back.

This I think is a little high, especially for the regular regions, but, again, it is not un-payable.

"We have 4 months to pay all fees and fines."
Four months is longer than it seems. That is 120 eRep days. That is 1/6 of the entire time eRep has been around. That is plenty of time to pay back the fines we are forced to pay.

"We will sign peace with France, Portugal, Indonesia, Russia, and Hungary."
There really isn't much to say about this. I mean it is a peace treaty. It makes sense we have to sign peace with those nations.

Again, not much to say here.

And to sum it all up, this treaty is actually pretty fair. Some people may call it as being cowardice, or desering our allies, but as I said earlier, we are still allowed to defend our allies while under this treaty. So for those of you saying eMerica has "deserted our allies" you need to read the treaty again. We have never, nor will we ever, desert our allies who have given so much for us. So I just want to take this time to thank our allies. Canada, for giving up their homeland. Spain, for giving up theirs. North Korea, for sticking their neck out for us. And the theocrats for doing the same as North Korea. And to all of our allies who have fought alongside us in this war. We will continue to stand by you and we wish you the best. We will not desert you. I won't let us.
