PCP Update - Reorganise and Regroup

Day 389, 15:12 Published in United Kingdom United Kingdom by Stan Wephen

Hello fellow PCP members. It's been a while since my last update, so there's a lot to catch up on now. We've had a bit of a revamp on our forum, http://forum.erepublik.co.uk/peoples-communist-party-f10, with sections being organised into (hopefully) more efficeint group.

PCP committess

As suggested by Kokach last month, the PCP has created 4 new action specific committees to help organise our party a little better. These are:

Press Committee - Responsible for providing the voice of the PCP, led by Rastari & mortalbeta94
Political Action Committee - Responsible for campaign organisation, led by Bob Boblo
Foreign Affairs Committee - Responsible for keeping the PCP informed of Foregin Affairs, led by Taytaz
Economic and Social Affairs Committee - Responsible for innovation and development of policy ideas for the PCP, (vacant leadership position)

With these new committes, the PCP is stronger and more organised than ever. If anyone of the PCP would like to help out on the new committees, please contact the approperiate leader, and they'll make sure you get a good job. These committees are a great way to get into politics with the PCP, and can provide the training and experience needed to move onto other positions such as congressman.

PCP congressman training

Speaking of congressman, I personally am leading a course for the PCP where I teach one-on-one PCP members who are interested in becoming effective congressman in the future. I currently have 4 tutees but am more than willing to take on more - the only requirement being you being part of the PCP and having a willingness to learn! This is a great opportunity to learn the ropes of the eUK government, so if you're interested, contact me! (Stan Wephen).

PCP Party Elections

It doesn't appear that there is any competition running against me as Party President this term (Forgive me if I'm wrong, but if you are running, you're running very quietly). However, it may be worth noting that I have officially decided to stand down from Party Presidency in January. The reasons for which I will make clearer closer to the date. So, if you're part of the PCP and you've been thinking that you could run things better, you will have your chance soon! It's also another great reason to take up my congressman training offer!

PCP member: Kokach

Kokach is a relatively recent addition to the PCP (or maybe I'm just getting old), but since he has joined he's made major impacts on the way the PCP is run. He has single-handedly turned the PCP from an almost certain decline in membership to a major boom in numbers! His great ideas about the way the PCP could be more effective are a great credit to his innovation - the PCP committees are a testament to this. My heart-felt thanks and apprecation go out to him.
