Panorama: Malaysia's Swan Song?
First off, I would like to all my readers who voted for my last two articles, it means a lot to me. This article, contrary to popular believe, will be impressing bite-size because, to be honest, I haven't got enough info to draw it out into a Tolstoy epic (high brow joke, don't worry). I apologise that this is on the same country and my last one but I can't help what I read and, I guess, neither can you!
According to my sources within the Malaysian and Danish governments, as many go to the polls tomorrow, the Malays may be getting more Poles than they bargained for (see what I did there). To cut a long story short - for both our sakes - there is a strong, and I mean strong liklihood of a Polish take-over happening in Malaysia.
The facts are that so far eighty eRepublik citizens, from the last few days alone, have moved to the new-born state. Although the more optimistic of you may hope that they are just here for a tan, according to an article published yesterday by the Danish president there have been chatterings of a PTO on the grapevine for a while and, although this is not an official take-over, there is no news of what the TO will entail.
To be honest, at this point there is not much that the Malaysian government can do except try and ride it out but this small, near defenceless country is, sadly, not unused to having its treasury ravaged and, even more unfortunately, it seems it will not be its last.
As I have only heard this very recently I have yet to the Minister of Foreign Affairs of either Singapore or Malaysia on this issue but as soon as I do I will post it. As-per-usual this is Tabitha Chandler signing out from Kuala Lumpur, eMalaysia.

NOT VOTED
Thanks for the insight Tabitha, you've always had a thing for details. I get the erm.. What you mean.
Once again, though short, still a good article.
Voted.
Keep it up!
If they get taken over, whats to stop em there. Maybe we should do them a favor and send a request for them to the eUSA's new "mobile voter program" and get that PTO countered with another PTO
To Relorian: No I don't agree. We should just stay out of it. From what we have seen so far, the M'sian seems very adamant for us to be involved in their matter so I think we should just stay out UNTIL they ask us for help. Just give them the impression that we'll always be here for help but let's not help them proactively unless they ask for it.
Great article Ms. Tabitha
Agreed with yourstruly. To just go in eithout their permission would strain our relationship. Though Relorian does have a good plan.
Good article. I like that you give us over in Singapore news from Malaysia, it's a great way for the general populace to know what's going on with our neighbors.
