Pakistan, There Is a Solution!

Pakistan, though rich in history and pious in its worship, is a nation with many problems to face in the coming months. The economy is exhausted and sickly. Our job market is drying up, our wages are stagnating, and our player retention is perhaps the worst in the world. Some Pakistanis survive on nothing more than the generosity of their harder working countrymen: but welfare should not be the Pakistani way. There must be a solution to this seemingly hopeless stagnation that has plagued our society for some time now. And I assure you, there is a solution. The problem, however, is that the answer to our troubles is as counter-intuitive as it is simple.
Pakistan, you must devalue your currency.
The PKR, valued at roughly 54 PKR per gold, is much too valuable. Why is this? Pakistan is in desperate need of foreign companies. Too many players leave the country or quit the game due to the lack of a domestic job market here in Pakistan, which limits our wealth, which in turn prevents us from starting our own business, which again prevents us from finding jobs, and thus completes the cycle of keeping Pakistan enmeshed in poverty. This cannot continue. We need to make Pakistan desirable to investors, and we need to do this with utmost urgency.
One might argue that if we devalue our currency the average Pakistani will only become poorer. And this is partially true. It will take more PKR to equal less gold. But here is the unavoidable truth: Pakistan will survive. The cheap labor will attract investors who will provide jobs, these jobs, once plentiful, will adjust their wages in accord with the strength of our labor force such that although each PKR is worth less, the average Pakistani will be making lots and lots of PKR each day. And once Pakistan is flushed with wealth, we can then increase the value of the PKR and begin the long road of providing our own domestic investment. This change, I admit, will take time.
But the alternative is unthinkable: a heart wrenching death where our jobs slowly vanish and our playerbase crumbles to dust. We cannot sit back and watch this happen.
I would advise making our currency the very lowest in the world. Make one gold worth 100, 110, 120 PKR. Do whatever it takes to attract jobs and refresh our stagnating domestic market.
Pakistan, please, devalue your currency.
Pride.
Power.
Pakistan.

if you switched your economy to a communist based one I would move there in a heart beat.
Voted.

V1 killed that possibility.
i agree we need foreign companies
1 step back to go 2 steps forward.
I like it.
Great Leap of pakistan
i am glad you graced our media by publishing here, hiding the filth.
I could make Pakistan communist in a week if people were willing to work with me on it.
Not sure if want.
We've done it before, and it worked for a few months, but after a few months of running this plan, the economy relied too heavily on foreign companies and many domestic companies took too long to catch up.
The only positive effect we would see by tanking the value of the currency would probably be the end of the 20 citizen fee/treasury alerts that government officials receive every day, presuming we print a shitload of money. I'd go through with this if only for the end of 20 alerts per day, but I still think inflating the PKR is currently a no-no.
One thing about trying to leave Pakistan's market to solve itself is that Pakistan's economy is extremely slow, and most economic predictions don't count our low volatility as a factor in how long proposed solutions will take to work. Here, the 'long road' is longer than most people expect.
