Vital Information:

1) The US Election Board has been formed. If any problems arise on election day, for whatever reason, these 6 (5 + 1 non voting Chairman) are the ones who will solve the problem. If you are in a party and something is wrong, contact either your PP or your Election Board representative. Party President's have the ability to stand in for their delegates if they are away.

As my deputy, Alexander Hamilton will be serving as President and Chairman, non voting, of the Election Board. I will be out of town on election day but will be reachable via cell phone and will be checking in via wireless internet as often as possible.

2) You must have US citizenship to vote in this election. If you're a member of the United States on ATO duty, I'm sorry, but I cannot allow you to vote. If I allow someone we to vote who is on ATO duty, sooner or later I will have to deny someone the same privileges. I cannot justify who I should and should not grant voting privileges to. In this situation, the voting becomes skewed based on my decisions. The voting will continue just as if it were being done in game: only those with correct level and citizenship requirements can vote

3) Col. Necros Xiaoban will serve as technical director for this operation

4) If you want to be a candidate, PM me saying so. If you have a Vice President, please include that in the message. If not, I will assume you're running without one. I will accept candidacy messages up until the 31st of July at reset (23:59 on the 31st of July).

Question and Answer session:

Q: What if a suspected multi account votes? Will you be able to track this?
A: Yes, we can track this. There are multiple safeguards built in for just this purpose. However, we will not be in the business of throwing out votes unless there is clear, race altering tampering being done for one candidate or another. We will attempt to keep our hands off of the vote totals unless the outcome is altered as a result of suspected tampering, and we will only act at that point with the consent of Election Board.

Q: What party will the winner run out of?
A: The winner has several options open. They can run out of solely their own party, if they so desire. If they wish for a more secure and, in my opinion, overkill method, they can also run under the USWP banner (largest party) and the sixth party will also run a blocker.

Q: Who will the blockers be?
A: People who have not enough name recognition (e.g. ligtreb) to be a detriment to the process but who are people who could competently act as President if the need arises (impeachment)

Q: What if the Unity Candidate loses the election?
A: If they get second place, the winner, a blocking candidate, will be impeached.

Q: Why are you waiting until the 2nd?
A: I wanted to give the candidates and parties as much time as possible to organize before we held a vote. If parties want to hold internal primaries before the primary before the election, this gives them enough time 😛

Q: Don't parties have to declare candidates by the 2nd?
A: Yes, they do. It is the job of the candidate to make sure their Party President is online at reset if they want to be run out of their own party for the election, assuming they win. Otherwise, they will be run out of USWP (largest party).

Q: If the election is a blowout, can you declare a winner before the polling ends?
A: Yes. If I feel the race is sufficiently over, I will begin to put the proper people in the proper places and have them declare their candidacy to make the process smoother. I will only do this at the end of the day if the lead is insurmountable and will do so in consult with the Election Board.

Q: Why does the poll end 10 minutes before reset?
A: To give us 10 minutes to get people in the right places. This is more than enough time.

Q: When are the blockers going to be set up?
A: I will begin asking parties to nominate their blockers tonight.
