Operation: Koala Bear a success!

17 Day 1,184, 09:22 Canada

You see that? It is a Koala bear. Koala bears are cool and cute. Hence, Operation: Koala Bear was never in danger of failing.

Disclaimer: Koala bears may not actually be bears.

I'd like to personally thank everybody who made the success of Operation: Koala Bear possible. Amongst these:

*Everybody within the DAL who helped beg people for votes. Too many to name, but Scorpius, Artorius, Relic, TemujinBC and, of course, Janos Leinport (who orchestrated Operation: Koala Bear, originally Operation: Vote Dominik). If I missed you, you obviously weren't loud enough in shouting about how awesome you are and how much you helped.

*The MDP. Who would have thought we could cooperate to fight a common enemy? Rylde even went so far as to interract with a family member in order to secure votes. What a heroic character!

*MOO, CPF and EPIC; each sent voters to us. Thank you Addy, Aeriala Nosyt and all who may have been involved.

*CPP. I have to mention them in a separate bullet because they're cool. And Roger Griswald was with us the whole time.

*CAF and TCO. Thanks for the votes.

*Bruck, for the icing on the cake in the form of taking NorseFire.

*Everybody who did something but I didn't mention unless you're Termz or Octavian. Then I don't care even if you did do something.

People I am not so pleased with. There is no way I am writing an article that I am 100% positive in):

*The Kronos administration. The President seemed to be missing in action the whole day, didn't respond to my PMs and had not, to my knowledge, planned for this TO in any way even though we knew it was going to happen somewhere several days before and that it was a matter of national security. Don't blame me, I voted for Aeriala who, incidentally, was on IRC for most of the day, helping us avert the PTO.

*Union Nationale refused to send help preferring to throw aside issues of national security and focus on their own party elections. I advise top 5 parties to keep this in mind when offering smaller parties congress slots.

*Scorpius' mother. Honestly, Scorp, her Shepherd's pie sucks. What the hell is that about?

To Alastar/Rolo/Wes/the rest of their multies/gold-bought friends: seriously, if this was your plan, I am disappointed. You better have something better up your sleeve next time around. I kept waiting for a major late-night push and you guys couldn't even retain NorseFire. If you had a little patience and intelligence, you could gain control in the way Sutler did and he was a better villain than all of you combined without stealing a penny. Again, you better cook up something better or, if this was really what you were trying to do, just pack it up and go home.

Here is another picture of a Koala Bear. Next operation will include panda bears. They are cute as well:

Once again, Canada, thank you for showing that we can stand together to oppose a threat and thank you for making Operation: Koala Bear a success.

Scopr was rather pushy to gather support. I am glad it worked out for you guys.

EDIT: Shugo also helped. This post was in no way coerced out of me. Nope. Not at all. Shugo had nothing to do with it. Really.

Doc, i learned since last time when we didnt push hard enough, and got TOed. I'd rather come across as an ass and keep thieves out of the top 5. Sorry if you got irritated.

Incidentally, this article is fantastic. I'd like to join dom in thanking everyone who helped us avert this PTO. If any of you are ever in the same spot and need people to gather votes for you, we're here.

Also, I'm pretty sure Sutler siphoned quite a bit of money out of government orgs, we just didn't notice.

Next time, don't send Scorpius to look for our help. He's not much of a diplomat. How do you expect us to help you when the guy you send abord us with " I don't want to be harsh, but f@&$ the UN!" ?

I think the real question is how do we expect you to help us when you're too selfish to care about a national issue, instead preferring to whine about perhaps the most harmless separatist in our history.

I was much more pleasant with your less self centered colleagues.

I never hold my vote for a PP election. Ever. I vote after I train. Always.

I couldn't do much, I vote at about 10 in the morning, before I even knew you guys were under a PTO attempt. And anyways, the quote there wasn't even directed at me, I was just a bystander. Anyways, in the end, everything went well for both of us, we did the right choice! ^^

Dominik, you didn't advise me (I was PP), how could you hope for help?
"Union Nationale refused to send help preferring to throw aside issues of national security"
Don't make me cry.

Scorpius was in your channel requesting help. He was directly refused by several UN members. All of the other top 7 parties helped out.

Dominik and Scorpius i'm not viewing the situation as you 2 does!

The UN advert to lose their own party by letting it in the hand of a harmless separatist. I would prefer to say They try not to lose their party to a guy who can be compared to :

TemujinBC -(minus) erep activity -(minus) group lulz -(minus) - whatever could be good about Tem = Sam de Champlain

and i remember how much you 2 were pissed when TemujinBC changed the name of the party so...how much can they be pissed by losing top 5 and losing party control in the same month. THAT would be outrageous even compared to national security

and by the way Dominik you gathered enough vote to outbeat anyone in the country without multies so why 2-3 vote smore would have done?

I still do not understand why Canada does not run blockers in CP elections for national security.
When was the last time you saw the US PTOed?
