Yes, I am serious. Bacon, bacon, bacon. You might want to say it out loud, taste the word. Feel what it feels like to say it. Yell it! Bacon! Isn't it a wonderful word? This is my open letter to admins. Please, replace the image of bread with image of bacon, or even better, rename Food to Bacon.
But... why?
I'm sure you agree with me that bacon is probably the most wonderful and delicious thing ever to have existed. The look of it... Just imagining all those crispy slices of pig meat makes me drool. And the taste, oh, so lovely taste of grease and salt always overwhelms me. It's too great to be true. It also smells so damn good.
So yes, I like bacon. So what? Many people like potatoes but do they demand it to exist in eRepublik? I don't think so. However I'm pretty sure I don't tell lies when I say that almost everybody loves bacon! During my life I have met only one person who didn't like bacon and she was a vegetarian. I hope she's cured by now. Having our citizens to eat bacon daily would cheer us up and lighten our daily life.
And the fact you serve citizens bacon would probably result in a massive baby boom all over the New World. I can already hear the screams: "OMG BACON? To the Batmobile!" I'm serious. Bacon is the king of foods, and it would attract many people if put on advertisements.

I'm also sure this would cheer up our friends Brits. After losing all the respect they ever had, they would probably be delighted if they at least got their breakfast served properly.

No I'm not! Just wait, I have another point up in my sleeve. This would bring a role playish element to the game. Obviously bacon is not made from grain, is it? Solution: replace grain with pigs. This would bring a completely new point of view to raw materials, when we could imagine what kind of conditions the pigs would have to live in. Bacon is always good though no matter what quality it is.
Q1 sty - Poor pigs. They have only little space and farmers occasionally beat them. Pigs are skinny and weak and therefore not the best ingredient to make bacon from. It's very common that pigs commit suicides if they're sentenced to spend their life on a Q1 sty.
Q2 sty - Better than Q1 but still not very good. Pigs still don't get enough exercise and they even don't have toys to play with. Animal right activists organize demonstrations against Q2 pigpens but with little impact on anything.
Q3 sty - Q3 sty is an average one. Pigs are fairly well fed, and they get to play with children because local schools and daycare centers come to visit them. Average pig on a Q3 sty enjoys his life and is very optimistic about his future(because they don't know what lies ahead).
Q4 sty - This is when we start to see some glamour! Pigs have their own beds and they get to listen to classical music if they please. These farms are specialized in more rare breeds like Oliver's Warty Pig or even wild boars! This is were the good stuff comes from.
Q5 sty - The best of the best! These pigs have a better life than an average eRepublik citizen. They all have their own personal assistant to grant all their wishes, and they have their own rooms with mini bar and television. Every saturday these pigs are taken to a local nigh club to party, and before being slaughtered they get a thai massage in a candle light. What more could you ask for?

Eating bacon is also a good excuse not to wear any pants! So please Admins, I beg you, give us the bacon we desire!

yeh , i would like to point out that it is against some relgions to use meat of a pig but i do not think any harm was intended ,althgouh i think pancakes would be much better!
This is redicilous, if we are to discuss this seriously we can quickly conclude that the picture of a bread is better than a picture of bacon, since bread is something that both vegetarians and non vegetarians eat. Thus meaning that non of the two groups feel pushed around.

Actually, I don't. You lost me here. I strongly disagree. If you need meat, there are tons of them healthier than pork! For example, fish! Cool games like Age of Empires had fish as food source.
Perhaps we could have bacon, in addition to bread? That way, everybody can find something acceptable to eat.
