One small sugestion to make a eRepublik (maybe) even better!

Hi! I'm Tin Tin eCitizen from Serbia (currently in France) and I wanted to give one small suggestion to admins and to hear your opinions.
I noticed that Battle Hero medal give's you nothing , small reward of 5 gold (usually for BHM you spent about 20 gold , or more...) so...
I thinked about giving DMG point reword for Battle Hero medal , like if somebody have 1 medal he immediately get DMG point in this order:
Q1 Wepon Dmg you produce +1 Dmg for BHM
Q2 Wepon Dmg you produce +2 Dmg for BHM
Q3 Wepon Dmg you produce +3 Dmg for BHM
Q4 Wepon Dmg you produce +4 Dmg for BHM
Q5 Wepon Dmg you produce +5 Dmg for BHM
so if somebody have 1 medal like Hostilian he gets just 1 to 5 Dmg points for it , but if somebody have 36 medals like BattalGazi he gets 36 to 180 dmg more! 36 medals x 1 , 2 , 3 , 4 or 5 (depends on Q of weapon)
This way you gave erepublik tanks more power but and wish of all army's to have more and more BH medaled solders. So they going to invest in they , and their medals , for you this means greater earnings and for us this mean more fun! Also each tank will want to have the most medals, therefore no one will be bored. This going to change War on eRepublik and gave it a little touch.

Maybe add a decreasing factor when you get more and more BHM?
Like for STR/Skill: you win less each time you train/work, so here we could win less DMG points with each BHM...
Because the idea as it is now is overpowered for people with a lot of BHM! 😛

This idea is just a small enhancement, but it'd require crazy amount of time and resources to implement.
Developers should work on something that's more efficient in terms of fun/cost.

And then when a tank could make, lets say 300 more points, how could a guy without any BHM earn even one???
You actually think anyone would spend 80gold on the 20 wellness boxes just so that he could, at least, TRY to gain that medal, even though it wouldn't be a sure thing at that point.

Janad there always be the battle where you could became a BH , you see hammaham he have 15 STR and no medals , therefore he wouldn't be tank any more , the number of tanks will decrease and possibility of us will crease...
Like parter , he allready have 20 medals , and he isn't tank or something like that , this would change that situation...

Then again the eRep war mod is so crude, its barely a step up from the Risk boardgame.

don't vote. It will make tanks overpowered, and almost impossible for younger players to get BHM. Now it's just very difficult to take BHM, but after that... Each BHM will give a tank more chances to earn next one. Now BHM is only symbol, secondary bonus for fighters, it mustn't become a target for "supertanks".
Dangerous is when mother meet my lamps,then she gone crazy,but i am ok with that,surely she was little shy, when she sow me with 2 lamps at the same time..

problem with this idea. if earning a battle hero medal makes you do more damage, than that would make it even easier to earn another battle hero medal. like lordaru said, it would lead to a few over powered players and a bunch of weaker players who can't get battle hero medals at all.
I just would like to say I am a Tintin fan! 🙂
That would just allow ppl who earn battle hero medals to keep tanking even more, and getting more medals. That'd leave little opportunity for others to get medals, plus those who did get medals would soon be too overpowered.

I'm afraid that it's definitely not "a few lines of code".
First of all you'd have to redesign the database of items - that alone is not worth it. Then work with it everywhere in code, make it somewhat efficient, test it and so on.
Besides technical problems I think (having ambitions for BH in some time) that it'd just make game a little more complicated and much less fun for everyone besides current BH owners.

I think i can improve on your idea, without a need to redesign database of items, or making it overpowering...
If you put a check before the damage calculations, if a person has a "achievement" BH medal, and if than add 5 wellness for every one, after the hit is achieved, calculated, it will remove the bonus wellness from player. The BH check will be performed after the one that forbids you to fight if you have less than 40 wellness. The same principal can be used for the Hard Worker medals. More experienced of you can do the math and see how much extra 5 wellnes will be in dmg, productivity and balance it out...
The reason I'm voting for this is, this game is not that rewarding, so to speak, late game. Once you reach the FM rank, there is no more big jumps in dmg, and with each lvl of str you receive less increase with training. Its just boring. Unless you get involved in politic or journalism there is little to no sattisfaction of getting late game.

Basically the same thing as the military ranks we already have - the more experience you get, the more damage you do. Eh.
@InfernoSD something similar, but unlike the ranks that are limited, and finish with FM, there is no final number of BH medals one may win...

Something to overpower even more the tanks and leave the rest of us the "nobodies" even more away from the BHM... Next they will ask to give back all the weapons used by FM so they won't have to buy so many in the wars and before you know it wars will be made just by some dozens of players will the rest of 99% of the ecitizens won't be able to change a thing.

Most of tanks gets gold from countries or organizations to make such big dmg in batles, almost no one spend their own money. So it's pointles reward them one more time.
