On the move again

Day 867, 04:42 Published in United Kingdom United Kingdom by suhaw

This time, I have moved from Japan to United Kingdom, in search of better prospects.

Many thanks to the helpful advice from fellow eRepublik-ians and useful web resources, I have found what I believe to be a more conducive country to Live Long and Prosper.

While Japan was an improvement over Singapore, I have found UK to be even better, especially for the situation that I am in now, namely a mid-level Construction worker striving to stock up on good food and improve/maintain wellness.

How is UK better than Japan for me ?

Here in UK, there are a number of job offers for L3 Construction workers like myself offering wages at 6 GBP or higher, while L4 food is available at less than 5 GBP.

Whereas over at Japan, I was earning wages of only 3 JPY while L4 food cost over 3.3 JPY. Only saw a 4 JPY job offer today, though the wellness standard of the workers is quite high.

The point is that here in UK, I am better able to sustain a living and consuming L4 food with more job choices than over at Japan. I think I'll stay here a while, at least until I stock up on my L4 food.

Then, I'll survey the scene to see where I might be able to work for gold and replendish those that I have spent to create this newspaper and other expenditures to facilitate my country-hopping.
