eCanada's Official Foreign Policy Directive:



Preamble: Be it known that it is the intention always of the People and Government of eCanada to foster relationships that tend towards the development of Friendships and Alliances; nonetheless, our amnesty and goodwill is not necessarily or always shared by others.



Definitions:


Friends of the People of eCanada (or simply, "Friend / Friends&quot😉
Refers to those foreign nations, peoples, groups, organizations or governments who have and do demonstrate an innate goodwill, consideration for, and general affection toward the people of eCanada; their well being and their welfare.

Allies of the People of eCanada (or simply, "Ally / Alies&quot😉
Refers to those foreign nations, peoples, groups, organizations or governments who have and do demonstrate as objectives, priorities or interests that are in alignment or agreement with those of the People of eCanada.

Friends & Allies of the People of eCanada (or simply, "Friend & Ally / Friends & Allies&quot😉
Refers to those foreign nations, peoples, groups, organizations or governments who demonstrate an innate goodwill towards the People and Government of eCanada, and whose objectives, priorities or interests are aligned with those of the People of eCanada. Friends & Allies cotinually demonstrate an innate goodwill, consideration for, and general affection toward the People of eCanada; their well being and their welfare.

Enemies of the People of eCanada (or simply, "Enemy / Enemies&quot😉
Refers to those foreign nations, peoples, groups, organizations or governments who seek to undermine or destroy the sovereignty or freedom of the People of eCanada. Enemies demonstrate ill will or an inconsiderate attitude towards the People of eCanada; their well being and their welfare.



Purposes of this Directive:


I. Declare Our Intentions
(a) The purpose of this directive is to provide the People and Government of eCanada, those present and to come, with knowledge of the intentions of the Government of eCanada towards foreign nations, peoples, groups, organizations or governments or vice-versa.

II. Provide Direction for Treatment
(a) To provide direction for determining the appropriate attitude and treatment towards foreign nations, peoples, groups, organizations or governments and their citizenry, subjects or members.

III. Comprehensive Listing
(a) To provide a comprehensive list of eCanada's friends, allies, friends & allies, and also our enemies.



I. Foreign Policy Directives: Our Intentions


I.I Seeking Friends & Allies Always (Directive #1)
(a) The People and Government of eCanada will strive always to maintain, encourage and promote a relationship with other people that lends itself to that of being or becoming Friends & Allies.

I.II Never Seeking Enemies
(a) The People and Government of eCanada do not and will not strive to make enemies with any other People or Government of the New World.

I.III Our Enemies are So by Their Own Choosing
(a) We hereby affirm that it is not the will of the People or Government of eCanada to create enemies for the People of eCanada. The Enemies of the People of eCanada are those who, by their own selfish or miguided actions, volunteer themselves to be so.

I.IV Presumption of Goodwill; Assumption of Caution
(a) Any foreign nations, peoples, groups, organizations or governments, and their citizens, subjects or members not specifically enumerated within the Comprehensive Listing are to be presumed and treated as Friends of the People of eCanada, and ought to be treated as directed in Foreign Policy Directive #1;
(b) Nonetheless, the People and Government of eCanada ought never assume that the interests of the aforementioned foreign nations, peoples, groups, organizations or governments are aligned with those of the People and Government of eCanada.



II. Foreign Policy Directives: Treatment


II.I Friends
(a) A Friend in Need is a Friend Indee😛
(b) The People and Government of eCanada ought always strive to treat our friends with courtesy, humanity and respect. Those who are considered Friends of the People of eCanada ought always be assisted, to whatever extent possible, in their time of need. The People and Government of eCanada ought strive to encourage our friends to also become our allies, and hence become our Friends & Allies.

II.II Allies
(a) Allegiances May Sway but Friendship is Forever:
(b) The People and Government of eCanada ought always strive to foster personal and friendly relations with our allies, and spare no opportunity to demonstrate our goodwill. We ought strive to develop regular, natural and friendly relations with our allies, and hence encourage them to become our friends too, and hence our Friends & Allies.

II.III Friends & Allies
(a) Brotherhoo😛
(b) Those considered our Friends & Allies ought be treated always with the spirit of brotherly love, and the People & Government of eCanada ought to stand ready to sacrifice our interests for theirs during their times of need. Nothing herein shall be deemed to exclude any benefit enumerated in Sections II.I (a, b) or II.II (a,b). The People and Government of eCanada ought always strive to maintain the highest standards of friendship and fidelity toward our Friends & Allies. The example of our treatment and conduct towards our Friends & Allies ought encourage observers to desire to become our Friends & Allies. Being considered a Friend & Ally of eCanada ought to deemed an honour and privilege by the New World community.

II.IV Enemies
(a) Woe to those who would be our Foes:
(b) Those who make themselves the Enemies of the People of eCanada are presumed to have done so by grave error in judgment. The people, persons, subjects, members or citizens of those who have made themselves the Enemies of the People of eCanada ought to be presumed to have been misled or manipulated, and treated accordingly; however, no citizen ought consciously render any obvious benefit to those who have made themselves an Enemy of the People of eCanada.



III. Comprehensive Listing

(a) Herein shall follow a comprehensive listing of the Friends, Allies, Friends & Allies and Enemies of the People of eCanada. This list is not exhaustive and any foreign entity, be it persons, peoples, organizations, governments or nations not listed herein ought to be treated as set out in Section I.I(a) (&quot😉irective #1&quot😉; bearing in mind Directive I.IV(a,b) ("Presumption of Goodwill; Assumption of Caution&quot😉.

IV. Amendments:


IV.I Amendments to the Document
(a) Any section of this document may be amended with the approval of the President of eCanada and majority vote of Congress. Neither the President nor Congress may unilaterally adjust the directives given in this document.

IV.I Proper Procedure for Amending the Preamble, Definitions, and Purposes of this Directive
(a) Any amendment proposing to alter any part or clause of this document, excluding Section III., Comprehensive Listing, shall take place only in Open Door Congress.

IV.I Proper Procedure for Amending the Section III., Comprehensive Listing
(a) Any amendment proposing to add, adjust or remove a listing in Section III., Comprehensive Listing, ought to take place only in Closed Door Congress.
