Join the new world

Hello eUK! and dare I say it, hello eWorld.

I am writing today to tell you about a program I have, since leaving presidency, had some involvement in. It was started up with the knowledge that wars and ‘missions’ etc, happen all the time and we kinda forget that this is a social game, it is very much about interaction and fun. So I am writing predominantly as a 'rep' to countries such as the UK, US Canada and Ireland - English speaking countries - to let you know what this big ol' game is.


Evolution of Gamers

So, we have put aside political boundaries and alliances and have invited all countries to take part in a big international game. This event is completely an initiative of eCitizens around the world and as such we hope all citizens consider it their personal goal to help us accomplish this, whether by participating or organising.





The city of eRepublika, set in the vast richness of Ancient Greece, was a flourishing place, the people; friendly, the society; interesting and full of vitality! However the leader of this city, Plato, liked to play games with his people, making their life difficult. Generally just disturbing their chi, and causing all manner of trouble. Many were baffled (pissed off) by this and sent a trusted group to seek an answer from the Oracles who resided in the caves far away from eRepublika.

When they reached the caves after many weeks of travel, the Oracles, as vague as they are wise, gave only a riddle to those weary travelers:

This reason you look for is in you,
Plato is him only in the physical shape,
The mind embodied will show true,
The Master that rules in death's drapes.

Profound sh!t, right? These words spoken, the Oracles vanished and the travelers only had a scrap of parchment with the verse scrawled upon it. One of these citizens; a wise woman of eRepublika, spent days in a trance trying to decipher the meaning of the verse and on the 5th day, she figured it out!

"The Oracles, in their wisdom, tell us that Plato's mind is being controlled by Pluto, better known as Hades!" (Gasp)

"If we want to save Plato & eRepublika from the vile clutches of Pluto the citizens of our city must go on a quest! Some will perish almost the way, no doubt, but the Gods of Olympus will aid them on their journey."

Everyone likes a good backing story. Especially when it involves saving Plato!(?) Essentially, the Game will take the form of various treasure-hunt like trials, with teams from around the globe all entering to compete for some great prizes. This is a great quest which we all have the opportunity to participate in, and as one of the organisers it would sure put a smile on my face to see some teams or individuals from the eUK or Atlantic Basin participating.





The competition will be divided over three days & all rounds will be elimination rounds. Over the three days you will meet the different Gods of Olympus and some will help but others might not!

Day 1: Team Event

You can either register in a team of four, or, join individually and then be put into a team of four by us.

You will start off with a question that will be posted on our Forums.

The answer to which will lead to another place and question, the information will be given with that question.

Depending on the number of citizens who join, the last 40% of the teams will perish and not make it the 2nd Day...

Day 2: Single Event

The teams that have so bravely set out on this endeavour have been split! They now set off on their individual course to save Plato.

Day 2 will start off in the same way, but with a different and more difficult set of Questions.

Sadly 50% of the contestants will survive this day...

Day 3: Single Event

This will be the hardest day for our warriors, they will come face to face with Hades and will defeat him in order to save Plato!

On this day, all but a few warriors will remain and those few will be well rewarded by citizen of eRepublika for saving their leader!





I know that this is the main attraction...why are you going to spend this much effort? Well, because the prizes areridiculously FABULOUS!!

1st Prize: 50gold
2nd Prize: 5,000cc
3rd Prize: 300 Q7

You apply by Registering to the forums and filling out this Form.

Any account suspected of being a multi will be immediately forfeit.

A nominal fee of 20cc per person will have to be paid.*

If you do not understand something you can contact a special list of Event Managers that will be disclosed at a later date. The tentative dates are 26th, 27th & 28th of July on a Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

We are hoping to see a positive response to this effort made by our very own citizens and I personally hope that this attempt at international society-building is fruitful!
