OhFU’s Congressional Candidates
Once again, the Socialist Freedom Party graciously plays host to our candidates for Congress.
Officially in the SFP Primary are TheHarvester, Belldandi and myself. That contest continues even as this article goes to print.
We fully expect TheHarvester and myself to be placed within the top twelve slots of the SFP ballot, the significance being that the SFP has won twelve seats each of the past two months. We hope that SFP members will know and remember Belldandi’s years of distinguished military service, and grant her their thirteenth ballot slot.
Also joining the SFP are our Old Farts Maxmillian VonWillibrand, Zheng He and Iamnameless, who may be called upon to serve as “blockers,” to fill out the SFP roster beyond anticipated won seats.
The OhFU also thanks both the We The People and Black Sheep Parties for their consideration of our requests to place candidates on their rosters, as well.
Vote SFP for OhFU candidates TheHarvester, Belldandi and Custer.
Vote SFP to continue to push Congress toward actual representation of the people.
Playing the Long Game
Let me remind you of one most important issue I brought up in my February PoTUS campaign-- the matter of reloading Congress. Restacking the deck. Tipping the scale. Pick a metaphor, I probably used it.
Congress has, for too long, been dominated by those who claim to know what’s best for you, yet do not represent your interests or desires. They simply do not respect you. They’re just plain bullies. They shout down any opposition with personal attacks and name calling. They call in their Experts with voodoo math to make unrealistic projections to prop up their Max Tax agenda.
I’m tired. We’re all tired. Some of our friends have left the country, others have crawled back into 2-clicking. But this won’t fix or change anything, it just reduces resistance to the status quo and reinforces the entrenched Establishment’s power.
There’s only one way out. We out number them, so we can out-vote them.
Reload Congress.
Vote the Socialist Freedom Party, or the Black Sheep Party, to increase the opposition in Congress. Each month, a few more seats. Each month, a little more pushing back. Each month, we represent the people.
Fight the power. Seize the power. Become the power.

SFP and BSP actually support the people?
I don't see it.
And yet you've been in Congress for 24 terms.
I mean a large number of those (like nearly half) were in eSwitzerland like 4-5 years ago, so before you make lazy comments do an inkling of research.
And my issue was not with the quality of the members but the language of "actually supporting the people,"
where I would say the Feds, who received the largest mandate (by a good bit) also represent the people, measured in, you know, votes.
numbers of votes is no longer a valid measure of how well the people are truly represented by Congress.
What is a valid measure then, oh Great Custer, Master of Valid Measures?

if the people are saying they do not feel well represented, that their interests are not addressed, that they feel left out of the process.. then there is another measure of representation other than the numbers.
Custer I have the utmost respect for you, you're a great player, and a good person,
but "numbers of votes is no longer a valid measure of how well the people are truly represented by Congress" is malarkey, that's the purpose of voting, of representative government. PPs are also elected, there isn't any system preventing people from voting for what they expect in government, and the SFP and BSP complaining does nothing to prove that the majority of citizens who vote (and again the Feds currently handily represent the largest mandate) aren't getting their interests served.
Otherwise it's populist rhetoric.

I was just hoping you might have some new information for me since I measure things for a living, so I try to stay up to date on things like that.
If you are talking to people that aren't being represented by their party, then perhaps they are in the wrong party.
If their complaint is that their party isn't getting things changed to match their beliefs, that's not a matter of misrepresentation of the majority, since the majority of people voted for other parties. If they weren't being represented by the parties they voted for, they would go to a party that matched their beliefs.
It's really not difficult to understand.

I, personally, am and have long been a fan of the SFP. they run our candidates while other Parties decline.
we helped the AMP a few months ago, moving nearly every OhFU member to help them regain a Top 5 spot so they could run Congressmen.
OhFU members-- including you when you were with us-- are not bound to any sort of "Party line." we simply do not have one.
I didn't know the offer was ever there. I know I never declined one.
We go where we are needed and wanted, otherwise we just sit around and postulate about pedantic players.
