Scotland!
Home of the free, the deep fat fried mars bar, bagpipes and haggis.

I'm an eighth Scottish, so when I woke yesterday to find that Poland had finally attacked our bonnie highlands, I was insulted. I wondered, where are they going? having originally thought it would be Canada, I read an article explaining that the US had agreed to loan regions to them, and that to get there they needed to hop over Scotland.

Whether or not Poland's final destination is regions in the USA or whether it's just a ruse and they're are trying to get to Asia remains to be seen.

So, to tackle this issue we retreated several regions to the Netherlands, then retreated Scotland to allow the Netherlands to block Poland until we can gain initiative and block them ourselves.

Or at least that was the plan.

Unfortunately, whilst trying to pull off the biggest sneakiest block ever, those bugs popped up and stopped us. Normally there would be a red button underneath the "go to the battlefield" button giving the option to retreat. As we were not the attackers in this battle, it should be there until the very end. It wasn't.

(To the Ameritrolls, this does mean it wasn't your chocblock that that through a spanner in the works, you could have got away with saving the cash on that one.)

As you can see, it has been devoured by bugs and we were left high and dry with a bunch of Dutch people on our Lands. I can understand that the admins may be focusing on Beta at the minute, but some of us think it's naff anyway and would prefer you get V1 working first.

Or you could be cool and use your powers to set all this right, whilst I drink myself into an early grave. 😉



Congress Elections

Because we have lost several regions, it is going to affect our congress elections, which start today.

Normally, as the UK has 12 regions we have 3 congressmen in each region and 4 wildcards. However due to us handing over several regions to the UNL and due to Poland owning Scotland, today we are going to have 7 congressmen per region and 5 wildcards. (Unless ofc there are more bugs.)

These changes coming along so suddenly will no doubt frustrate some PP's, and many congressmen who have been denied the chance to enter commons this month because of the last minute changes.

For other congress running in other regions, it may have guaranteed you a place, so consider yourselves lucky. Never the less this months congress results are going to be very odd, and for any inconvenience caused we at the save the world committee apologise.

Because we replaced some good old fashioned fun with some blocks, we thought we'd offer you an alternative.

So, you may have read that we've set up a fund to attack the Irish. If we can raise just under 600 gold we will have enough money to declare war on Ireland.
