Croatia, Finland, America Under Attack

This morning, Latvia land-swapped with Estonia to launch an invasion of Southern Finland while Russia simultaneously attacked Oulu, Finland. Three fronts were opened up against Croatia within one hour – Hungary at Northwest Croatia, Serbia at Slavonia, and Slovenia at Lika and Gorski Kotar. The United Kingdom attacked Maine, Flanders, and Nordjylland, failing to capture any of those regions, and continued their attacks on Rhode Island and Maine again. These were diversionary tactics for a larger enemy offensive against Croatia. The plan executed by former PEACE states mirrors the Day 712 Offensive, except it features participation by the United Kingdom, silence from Turkey, and no invasion of Alaska by Russia. Russia later attacked Eastern Finland.

Do not be fooled by misleading orders or requests to help defend certain regions. These are almost all attempts to draw fire away from the real targets of this offensive. Only trust the Department of Defense Orders for information on where to fight.

Americans living in a fortress state may request five free Q1 weapons from government distribution. The link is here:

Portuguese War Debt

Portugal attempted to stick the United States with a 5000 gold fine for violation of Contract between Portugal and USA - Portugal helps the South rise again for being a day late on a monthly installment of 100 gold. It is the official US position that the payment was not made late. Furthermore, some possible breaches of contract by Portugal, such as the date of the return of Maryland to the United States, were overlooked in good faith. While the United States and Portugal are enemies, the United States at least appreciated that Portugal negotiated in good faith during the war, unlike their current treatment of the treaty. The administrators have already ruled on the matter, saying that, “[a]fter carefully considering the presented facts and the inter-countries contract specifications we reached the conclusion that this contract is void.” This means that the non-aggression pact clause is also void, and citizens are advised to stand by for military orders/vacations to the Azores.

Irish War Games Update

The war games with Ireland will be put on hold until allied nations are no longer under threat. So far, the games have been wildly popular, with Paraguay and Singapore now looking to join the festivities. Citizens can still get experience and wellness from real wars.

Update on the Indonesian Invasion of Malaysia

Indonesia continues to invade the war-game-hosting nation of Malaysia. Few Indonesian attacks on core Malaysian regions have had a chance of breaking though, making this the equivalent of a free war game for 28 nations allied with Malaysia, and Indonesia continues to deny Malaysia the initiative. Indonesia has been alternating attacks between Sarawak, Sabah, and Peninsular Malaysia.

The Peru Situation

Peru is now firmly in the hands of a Polish takeover group, which has prompted a military response by some regional powers. Argentina land-swapped with Chile to border Peru, then invaded. Brazil later launched an invasion of Peru, opening another front and attempting to complete the total annexation of Peru. A mutual protection pact between Peru and Poland was accepted, brining more direct Polish involvement to the battles. Argentina remains in control of the Great Andes region, which has both high iron and high wood. The United States has been monitoring this situation closely but has no official position.

Slovakia Regaining Freedom

After the combined efforts of many groups and several resistance wars, Slovakia is now in control of three of its four regions. Bratislava remains occupied by Hungary. This region does not border Poland, so Poland is unable to assist in its direct, one-on-one war with Hungary, but freedom fighters stationed within Hungary have been attempting to liberate the last Slovak region.
