Official White House Press Release (#53): PEACE Aggression and Swiss Victory Against the Same

United States Training Corps

General of the United States Training Corps Angelini announced that, after a long-awaited restructuring, the Training Corps is once again open. Unlike some other branches of the eUS military, the Training Corps has no strength or rank requirements. Applicants must be living in the United States and have United States citizenship. Successful completion of a tour in the Unites States Training Corps is required for most other enlistments.

Update on Slovakia

Poland is currently fighting to liberate Eastern Slovakia from Hungary. American citizens with the means are encouraged to either move to Southern Great Plains, Hungary, and fight RED in resistance wars in Eastern Slovakia, Western Slovakia, Central Slovakia, or Bratislava. It will require two moving tickets to get there from the United States because of an active war between the United States and Hungary. A layover in a neutral nation such as Pakistan or South Africa is required. Citizens can also move to Poland (any region, they all have Q5 hospitals) with just one moving ticket and fight in the Polish attacks on Slovak regions instead. Americans living in Hungary should not fight in the Polish attacks, just in the resistance wars.

In response to some of the propaganda circulated by Hungarians to justify their unjustifiable invasion, smrtan was not a puppet dictator put into office by Poland. While he is of Polish decent, he had been acting for the best interests of Slovakia and served that country as its president, not Poland. He has written an article clarifying his history. Slovakia was not a member of EDEN when it was conquered.



Indonesia Declaring War on Malaysia

Indonesia is currently voting to declare war on Malaysia, an unaligned country. If Indonesia attacks, they will also get free wars with any country bordering Indonesia with a mutual protection pact with Malaysia. This will include Australia. PEACE has attempted to justify invasions of neutral, war-game-hosting nations before. Malaysia currently has 22 mutual protection pacts, although the United States’ will expire soon. The United States and Malaysia are renewing their alliance; the United States stands ready to defend Malaysia. The Indonesian ultimatum can be found here.



Graubünden Liberated

Graubünden, the last zone of Hungarian occupation in Switzerland, has been liberated by a concentrated resistance war effort. Swiss control of this region means Hungary will be unable to threaten Italy and Switzerland. Switzerland had been under total Hungarian occupation for over a month. Now it joins complete territorial integrity. As of press time, the sovereignty of Norway, Switzerland, the United States, Canada, Finland, Greece, and Spain over their respective territories is unmolested. There are still many nations partially occupied by PEACE tyrants, however.



War Bond Repayment

During the recent war, in the darkest days for the United States, the government issued war bonds. These would have a one-time interest rate of 2.15%, but the treasury department could not guarantee their repayment, as the country stood on the brink of annihilation. Congress passed a bill to begin repaying the patriotic Americans who bought these bonds, and the government plans to disperse approximately 92,930.96 USD. Repayment is being handled by Serendipitous, Director of the Flying Unicorn Squadron.
