For a long time I've been reading (with a smile in my face) all the different propaganda articles in ATLANTIS nations, to get the consent of the population and to try and justify the actions on both sides.

Now if on one side we have PEACEs war efforts justified by the fact that they are the defending eNations, on the other we have ATLANTIS, that has been trying to satisfy it's citizens, some of who didn't/don't know the reasons for the invasion of France.


The main reasons for most of the ATLANTIS Nations where these:

-France wouldn't free switzerland
-Brasil and Indonesia declared war to Argentina

Here instead I will put the reasons of the single ATLANTIS Nations that I have come to find out by reading the MANY articles of propaganda that can be found and read in all of the ATLANTIS nations:


USA: Benn Dover "promised" war to it's people and was desperate to find one. The US was in a bad economical period and he though(rigthly) that the key to fix things would be war. For a couple of weeks all was just going on as usual without any major conflict in wich the US could have dived in. He tought he found something after Brasil declared war on Argentina but was sad to see that Brasil never attacked them. The pressure on him to find a war was getting high, but he was lucky to find out one day that Spain attacked France and that France was having BIG trouble.
So as we know USA attacked by saying that they just wanted the "IMPERIALISTIC NATION" to crumble under the might of ATLANTIS, and make sure that Switzerland would gain Independance.

UK&Canada: UK and Canada pretty much used the same excuses to go to war as the USA. They don't have a strong army but wanted to show their support and devotion to ATLANTIS.

Sweden: I have A LOT of respect towards the swedes. They have demonstrated that numbers not always count, since their army is not big but highly efficent. They have conquered many eNations but agreed on freeing them, something many coulnd't have done without great character, So now that Sweden is PRO free nations WHY IN THE NAME OF DIO BRANDO ARE YOU ATTACKING FRANCE?
I mean, I know you want to show your allies your devotion to ATLANTIS, but why fight a war using gold just to get a couple of french regions that have resourses you already LARGELY have? And why keep on defending the conquered region from Frances counter-attack after Switzerland has been freed? I really do not understand your actions. You already know that having "control" over other eNations will not give advantages that outrun the costs.



Spain: I do not know why they went to war...maybe because they just can?

Anyway, the moment has finally come where you cannot hide behind your escuses anymore.
Switzerland has been freed and there hasn't been a single battle between Argentina and Brasil


Many of you might not know that France had been negotiating with switzerland for it's freedom before the war, you can even find a thread in the forums of eRepublik. Now I do not know the reasons for this but someone started the RW in Switzerland while the negotiations where still going on. France, of course, didn't tollerate this, and stopped the RW at once.

Brasil instead declared war on Argentina because Romania had conquered another hungarian region, so they wanted to stand by their allies and stand up against the aggressive stance taken by Romania(ATLANTIS)
This is what Sparta Kratos told all of us, but I don't know if it's just a silly escuse or the truth...
I personally beleive he didn't realize what he was going towards until he pressed the war button and hell came out.

So now, PLAESE STOP TAKING EXCUSES!!!
IF YOU WANT TO GO TO WAR BECAUSE YOUR ECONOMY SUCKS,SAY SO!
IF YOU WANT TO GO TO WAR BECAUSE YOU JUST LIKE WAR,SAY SO!

BUT PLEASE STOP TELLING LIES TO YOUR OWN PEOPLE! THEY HAVE A RIGHT TO KNOW THE TRUTH!

Now, I've read OVER and OVER arguments between PEACE and ATLANTIS, arguments in wich I,myself, got carried away in. One of the main ARGUMENTS, of course, is the ACCUSATION of who is the BAD guy ad who is the GOOD guy.

I just want to say this: Both alliances have good guys and bad guys in them. Both alliances have nations in them that conquered free eCountries. Both alliances have freed eNations. So please stop with the crap of whos good and whos bad.
