New Users Guide to Life in eDenmark

1 Day 731, 04:40 Denmark
Hello there young one

You have a whole new world to explore. A world of wonders, flowers, rainbows, and magic. But also of poisonous food, advertisements for things that don't make sense, political takeovers by evil people, boring articles written by Swedes, and WAR!

That's a lot to handle. So I've decided to write this quick guide to life in e-Denmark.

1. You will notice that your health goes down every day. That sucks doesn't it? First of all I recommend that you relax a little, you're too stressed. Have a cigarette and sit back.

Secondly you need money. Don't worry, I'm not asking you to do anything illicit, like the way President Pho3nix would (he's a jerk). There are several ways to make money here in eDenmark.

First, get a job you lazy bum. Wasn't that obvious enough?
Now getting a job is confusing. First you must admit that you have no skills whatsoever. So when you go to the job market, select the skill level thing that says "0.00-0.99" and look at the jobs there.
You will see (hopefully) several offers. A trend you may notice is that the jobs with the most stars (quality levels of the finished product) offer the highest wages. This is because these jobs will take more wellness from you than other jobs. It is up to you to decide how you want to balance this.

If you take a low Q job for little money, your health will be fine, but you will be poor. You could take a Q2 job for some money, and probably even out pretty well but never exceptionally. You could take a high Q job for lots of money, but then your health will probably suck for a while (eventually you will be able to afford solutions to this problem, but that is a long-term plan.)
Here is a good guide to how wellness works in erep:

Now how else do you make money in eDenmark? Why you can register on the Danish Erepublik Forums. Once you've registered post in this thread to get 15 DKK:

While on the forums I recommend you join the military. If you join the military and participate in the Check-Ins, you should get 5 DKK for each check-in, which happens bi-weekly!

2. How to help your wellness.
When I said there was poisonous food in this game, I was lying so don't worry about that. I personally think the smartest strategy to gaining wellness is to take your daily wage, and buy the highest quality food you can with that. When you get a raise (and sometimes you have to ask for one) you should be able to afford better food! Traditionally you are entitled to a wage when your "Work Skill" goes up to another level. You can see your work skill on your profile under "bio". It will be divided into three sections:
a. Manufacturing
b. Peasantry or something, you can read you figure it out
c. Construction

You will likely be able to save money this way, with your saved up money you have two options. Buy gifts and have a friend or perhaps your boss give them to you to raise your health, or you can save up for a house. Ask Jakob TKG about housing prices. Buying a house is very expensive though and will take a long time to save up for.

For those of you who are younger than 1 month, the Danish government will raise your health to 70 Wellness as fast as we can. All that is required is that you are under 1 month old, and have Danish citizenship (as well as live in eDenmark). Contact <a href="http://www.erepublik.com/en/organization/1765837">Sundhedsvaesenet

Otherwise all I can recommend is that you train and work every day. I would say that joining a political party and active in national politics is a good way to progress your experience of this game. In eDenmark we had a meetup where something like 12 of us showed up. Also starting a newspaper is a pretty good way to gain fame in this game.

Now take a look at the e-Wiki if you want to know more about our national history and stuff. It's pretty interesting.

Good luck!

Also would someone translate this into Danish, doesn't need to be a direct translation.
