Join the new world

Well As you know on January 25th every voter in eRepublik goes to their polls to decide their congress and that's no different to the good people of the eUK. We are lucky to have six competitive parties on the fringes of the holy grail of the top five, which makes politics very interesting in our country.

New Era, the country's third largest party will again be looking to continue our impressive record at recent elections. Thanks to you we have been the second largest party in Congress twice in the last three months and we want that trust from the public to continue.

So why should you vote New Era and who are our candidates? Well the running order of our candidates is set by our Party President as dictated by the game mechanics, and as yet that order has yet to be determined so in no particular order may I introduce you to our candidates -



David Pankhurst - David is looking to enter Congress for the first time and at New Era it is always our pleasure to help players into Congress. David believes you should offer him the chance to represent the eUK, he adds ''I am just a citizen who has seen much change in the last few years and wants to contribute to the party and the eUK as a whole, ideally making a difference to lead this country in the right direction. That said, I am approachable and always happy to help those who require any assistance. I wish luck to all the candidates, and hopefully we can all make our nation great''

William Ross - William is another player looking to enter Congress for the first time, he is another of new Era's bright young players. William says ''I, William Ross, wish to run for congress. The reason being is so I can contribute my many skills and attributes into this role, putting into it my up most effort, time and determination. I will, if appointed, be a strong voice for those of my party, will strive too listen and respect everyone's views and will put action to words too ensure I make decisions that prove best for the party's future. So if you want a congress member that puts their all into the work entailed by this job, vote for me, if you want a congress member that will manage and delegate the decisions with and for the people, vote for me, if you want a good congress member, vote for me."



p00kachu - With the risk of repeating myself I am happy to say p00kachu is another New Eralite looking to enter Congress for the first time and make his mark. Here is what he had to say - ''Hello There! My name is p00kachu. I am running for the eUK’s congress under the ‘New Era’ political party! Firstly, I am a British Patriot. I will fight in her name, die in her name and protect her name so long as our country lives. I wish to make a difference within the UK starting right here in our own Congress. I have allied myself with the New Era party for many reasons, but my main reason being that they are a helpful,well-meaning and incredibly reasonable party and have proved themselves to
have the eUK’s future and the people of the eUK on their minds.
Why me?
Set aside the New World for a few moments. In real life, I have studied and passed A-Levels in Politics (Mechanics of and Ideology), History (20th Century Conflict and Political Struggles) and Business Studies. I have a competent understanding of politics, foreign relations (Interesting point, I once did a Mock UN summit and came in the top 3 as France) and a slight grasp on the economy.Back to the New World. First off, I am not a warmonger. While I understand the cause for war and I respect the men who fight them, they are not to be our first course of action. Diplomacy is to be employed before anything escalates and creates problems for any side. I will not follow in the foot-
steps of our “great” leader, Big Ant and vote to invade countries of no worth risking our own great soil for a White-Man reputation of tyranny. I will also ensure to listen and personally reply to any mail sent to me by a member of the eUK. Also, while only being a member of the New World for 9 days, I have accumulated 24.5k+damage for our own country, defending the mess our President left us in.
A Vote for p00kachu is a vote for the eUK, choose liberty over hypocrisy''.



Ricslam98 - Is one of those players who has returned to eRepublik and it is our pleasure that he chosen New Era to be the host to kick start his first venture into Congress. Ricslam has traveled in the past and it is this experience in eRepublik of other countries thinking that we believe makes him a good choice for Congress. He adds '' I´m normal guy who wants to give more to this country, I´m player who knows what to do, I´m friendly, and a nice player and you always can tell me what you need, I will help everyone with my political opinion''.

Alphabethis - Alphabethis is a very well known figure in the eUK. Like his opinions or disagree with them he certainly opens debate and conversation and you can guarantee he will never be one of those Congress candidates who just stand for the 5 gold. We were proud to have offered Alpha his first term in Congress last month and are more than happy to back him again. Alphabethis says ''I try to be a writer. Then one day, fighting the unfair and selfish behaviour of some, I got more and more involved in politics, till now. I think, we have won and know everything is fairer and open to everyone ( not just some)''. Spain recently saved our rears and closed the Canadian border and it is always a pleasure to have a real life Spaniard like Alpha in New Era helping to strengthen our ties to our brothers and allies.



K.P.Tatschner - K.P is looking for his second stint in Congress and is a very dedicated eUK'er. In fact he regularly offers free health to players via his newspaper which is a very unselfish act. A rising star in the New Era party we are proud to offer him this platform again. Fun, Loving and always friendly to everybody K.P is one player who will always go out of his way to help those in need. With a weekly food give away and interesting political opinions, this is one guy you don't want to be without.

wigibob - wigibob is the current Vice President of New Era, a position he has held three times now, another title he has held is he was the former eUK ambassador to Canada. Very well known for approaching debate with a fair mind and neutral objective we are proud to offer wigibob a platform so he can attempt his third stint as an eUK Congressman.
Why should you vote for wigibob via New Era? Lets ask the man himself - ''I'm a fun, friendly guy, huge football fan (Bradford Park Avenue is my team(Conference North)) I also play the piano and have my grade 2 practical and grade 3 theory, I love comedy (almost any) and I think New Era is great''

Bobbin Baggins - Another New Era young player who again is looking to join the ranks of players that have gained their first Congress seat under the guiding arm of the New Era. Bobbin says ''Why vote for me? I'm a new player who just wants to make the uk a better place'' and we believe he will.

Giordy River - A fan of Lamborghini Giordy is a young and intelligent player who we think has a bright future for the eUK. He boasts Italian, Spanish and English as languages he is fluent in (EDITORS NOTE - I struggle with my native English tongue so God bless him!) and will be looking to represent the eUK in Congress for the first time.

hollenboer - A dedicated eUK'er and has laid down over 323 million damage for our country. Hollenboer has been in Congress an impressive 18 times and we believe his abilities and experience are a vital asset to both the eUK and New Era. We are proud to have his experience in our party.

BoatsandHoes - Another young player we are proud of at New Era, BoatsandHoes already has had one great spell in Congress with New Era and we are proud to see his desire to run again with us. Commander of the Royal Marines Military Unit he is dedicated and is against all the petty political division that is causing so many problems for our country.



Sir Winston S Churchill - Does he need any introduction? Formerly King Hannibal of Asia, Winston has an impressive C.V.
One of New Era and the British Army's founding fathers he can boast being a country president an impressive THREE times as well as 15 stints in Congress. He is a God Of War and nearly 370 battle hero medals during which he has built up a breath taking near 672 MILLION damage on behalf of the eUK. Winston is also the current Party President of New Era and we are very proud to have him stand again in the hallowed halls of Congress.

James Scarlet - James is a young and hungry player who returned to the game and who has risen through the eUK political scene already cutting a path for a very bright future. He is a current New Era Congressman and is in his third stint. James can also boast that he twice represented the eUK Government as an eUK MoFA Ambassador something which he did very impressively. We are proud to have James Scarlet run under our New Era banner.

AlottaFuntz - Current Congress member and looking for his second term representing Congress for New Era. Hard working and open we at New Era always have a touch of pride when we help players get into politics. Alotta adds ''vote for new era cause we are the only party who can take the uk forward and listen to people and not ignore them''

Ewan Dougall - Proud Scot and looking for his second term representing New Era in the eUK's Congress. Hard working and dedicated to defending the eUK Ewan is the 2nd Commander of The British Army, which is the official Military Unit of New Era. We hope you give us your vote and trust so dedicated players like Ewan can again help improve the eUK.



Billyscaff - Another New Era young player who is looking to enter Congress for the first time. Billy has alreay nailed an impressive 7 battle hero medals fighting for the eUK, a dedication that we do not doubt will be transferred to the political side to the game. An intelligent thinker he says "Too often the strong, silent man is silent only because he does not know what to say, and is reputed strong only because he has remained silent" A bright future could lie ahead for Billy.

SpencerReachKB - New to the game, approachable, friendly and like many others has joined the New Era revolution to make his first steps into the political side to the game. We are more than happy to offer Spencer his first opportunity at standing for Congress and hope he enjoys the experience because we are certain there will be many more to come in his time in New Era.


Tacticalsplooge - Another very young player who has placed his faith in New Era, T.S has a great sense of humour (You can probably tell by his eRepublik name) we are sure will be one to watch in the coming months. He is very eager and keen he is showing traits already that we like to see in New Era members.

Sage Goku - What can we say? Former Party President of New Era and was the driving force behind our more professional approach. Radical, intelligent and very experienced nobody can deny that Goku knows the workings of this game inside and out. Current New Era Governor and 13 times Congress member we welcome Goku with open arms as he steps back from his Ministerial role where he successfully implemented changes that benefited the players who's involvement stays in-game.

Calross - A young but promising player who will no doubt be a vital player in the eUK's future. Already he has progressed to be eUK ambassador to Saudi Arabia as well as a member of the MoH staff for the Government. In the past he was PCP Vice President and is also the Funky Militia Military Unit 2nd in Command. Another young player well worthy of your trust on the 25th of January.
