New Era is now recruiting talented players from around the eWorld. We want fresh perspectives, different experiences and exciting personalities!
We hope that you understand that we do need some security against malicious enemy citizens, so we will do a background check on you and you will be required to sign a contract. Even so our system should be less judgemental and quicker than those of the other parties.
Being in an "enemy" country or alliance is not necessarily a drawback, we will track immigration figures from each country/alliance and accept some citizens from each if we like you. If you have been a member of the eUK community before then we believe that you have a right to return.
If you are interested, please PM me and I will direct you to a New Era Congressman who is taking part and has Citizenship Passes left.
New Era Immigration Contract
To get a New Era Citizenship Pass you must:
* Agree to join New Era for 33 days.
* Agree to not run in any elections for 33 days.
* Honestly tell us which real life country, eCountry and eAlliance you belong to.
* Donate a 5g worth of Currency as a Deposit. You will get this back after 33 days if you don't break the contract.
Make sure that you PM me, the Party President of New Era, before making any contract so that I can confirm that it is genuine. If you get scammed and you didn't PM me, I won't be held responsible!
Other Immigration Routes
There are currently two other ways to get an eUK Citizenship Pass:
1) UKPP and New Era Members are free to use their own judgement.
New Era Congressmen don't have to follow this system and it is written into the UKPP Constitution that their Congressmen can not be not forced to follow any system. Several other UK Parties have members in favour of light guidelines rather than heavy rules and may let you in too.
2) TUP, ESO and UKRP Members follow a system on their forum.
The Citizenship Emperor Iain Keers may allow you into the UK if he likes you or your country. However this system can be a little restrictive, judgemental and slow. If you are Polish then this is probally the route for you!

I wonder if the sending 5 gold to Goku for 33 days is voluntary too? Past experience has shown you won't have your gold back for far longer than that!

Well, seems your policies will now actually have a very high chance of leading to a PTO of eUK. Anyone who votes for New Era is now effectively sponsoring an enemy PTO. What an absolute disgrace of a policy, putting recruitment ahead of national security. It's not surprising since you've fought against and stolen from eUK before. The Deposit won't nessesarily go to me. It will be a good idea to have a few different and trustworthy people holding them so they cannot all be stolen. I will cover any losses from my own pocket..

On another note: finally we see New Era publicly announcing they're PTOing the country.
TUP also does background checks and recruits players from overseas. You even gave one of them a CP Medal. We will also accept players from Poland.
Congressmen and Applicants are free to follow the TUP system or this one.

I've refrained from negatively criticizing people in public so far, but this is beyond ridiculous.
People: come ON! Selling citizenship, and for the price of one damn medal at that!? This should be a massive red flag to everyone. Shouldn't citizenship be the ONE DAMN THING that can't be bought and sold for gold? We all know the incredible sums of money that some players put into this - 5 gold is nothing for them.
This is going a bit far to be fair.
This is pretty stupid. Also I find it distasteful that anyone would request party membership in exchange for a citizenship pass. I would recommend to any foreign citizen to hang on to your gold...

and Helpmeslack...a PTO is not fun, ask the USA if they are enjoying it. They wont give a s**t about you, or your feelings. They will destroy the eUK and do whatever they want. They wont even care about NE or UKPP. They will just destroy, destroy, destroy. A wipe is better than a PTO.
Why must you people (Keers, Dan Moir, Kravenn, Beta) always slam New Era and Goku? I understand your concerns and your opinions, but can we please be civilized? Again these rules are stricter than what TUP system which is "Iain Keers can approve his friends", and the UKPP system which is "You can use your own judgement". In fact New Era Congressmen can choose to follow any of these systems.

The derp Alfagrem also did more damage for the UK then any of your begotten returnees as well as provide tonnes of goodies for new players, increased retention, fun and injected a sense of 'llama' into eUK proceedings.

James, I would consider myself one of those who likes New Era and considers the party concept, for the most part, to be a good one for the eUK. This, however, is not a good policy. This is the worst idea in the history...of everything.
If we were PTO...it would cripple us for a long time. We have 600 people voting last month. Imagine if, in 2-3 months another 200 cits all voted for ONE foreign party, not NE, not UKPP, not TUP. And then voted for their own CP. It would destroy us.
How is the TUP system any better?
@James Scarlet, I'm not slamming NE, or really Goku, just the idea of selling CS' for gold and party membership. As for who will PTO, that's the problem, we don't know who it'll be otherwise there'd not be these worries.

Bohemond, nobody is even capable of attemting to PTO us. France is barely on the map. USA is experiencing a PTO right now. we are on ok terms with Ireland. Plus there would be no point in PTOing us anyway. What do we have that PTOers want?

Beta, my remark wasn't really aimed at you, but would Goku really steal your money? He hasn't as long as I have been here, even though there have been plenty of oppurtunities if he seriously wanted to. He is a good person, not the monster TUP paints him to be.

James, there may not be anybody who wants to at the moment because it's too difficult; if they could, with a policy like this, then they may well decide to try it. In short, opportunists.
ok, this is my point ? Have we discussed this new policy ? Inmigration is quite sensitive.
Second, does it pay to import 10-20 foreign players per month, at any rate? I think a mixed approach is the best , always, a half Keers half commitee is good, mixing party politics with inmigration, that is, forcing people to join NE if they want to inmigrate is not legitimate. Sorry, but I always give my opinion. New Era is an open and serious party, although innovative and that tries to find new ways.
I support voted or discussed decissions. And remember this always, New Era is not Goku, not Alphabethis, not Hugh, not even Don, not King of Asia , not... New Era is the sum and mix of all these people, that's why we ARE STRONG, because we SUM, actually. It's not an empty MOTTO ( as in ESO).
RETENTION IS THE KEY, retention, we get 20 players per day, if we only keep 50% of them to reach level 20 that would be a REAL BOOST.
@James, in that case I apologise for my brashness then : P He took 70 gold from Talon Karrde, and openly said he'd stolen it in one of his articles and had it for months and months before finally giving it back just before he came PP. Admittedly he took it before you joined, but he didn't give it back until after.
