The recent attack by the hungarians on slovakia (a neutral nation) has shown the eWorld that that neutrality dosnt matter and dosnt guarantee your security. So the congressmen in Ireland by think neutrality is the safest option are sadly deluded and are putting Ireland at risk of a nation attacking us because they feel like it, like in the case of the current conflict between Hungary and Slovakia. So its in eIrelands best intrests to join an alliance for security and to make eIreland a brighter and less boring place.

I agree we need to join an alliance. I also agree we need to do it the right way. Everyone needs to be patient, there are always reasons. There is a right & wrong way to do this, and rushing to sign MPPs because of a single, even though important, event.

A country like ireland has its strength in democracy, not military. As many times as we have been there for our allies, they will be there for us should the time arise.
Joining an alliance is not a poor idea, but these things need to be fully thought out, and not rushed.

Eden is actually an old Alliance Altantis hiding behind the name Eden if you think they fight Defensive your wrong! they never fought Defensive always imperalists. If we were to join Eden we would never get much secruity as other Members and we be joining the people who PTOed us, Romania so a no from me.
PEACE is an Imperalist Alliance they also fought imperalist since they started and most PEACE members respect Neutrality but eHungary doesn't they just wiped Slovakia off the map without negotiations so its time for us to wake up! we should consider a good Alliance for us.

In any case PEACE CG would like you to join EDEN, or PEACE CG, it is same. They are attacking right now and eIrland could be ally or foe. In any case eIrlands territories can later been used as a jumping board.
We know that when you are under attack or in attack that is the period when economy is rising and there are more effort to bring new players in game to increase the power of enation.
You can afford to be neutral if you have their money in your banks. By them I mean members of PEACE CG and EDEN/FORTIS. If you dont then that is the time when you should join some side.
Every nation who survives a war is a great and this is game so there shouldnt be any actual casualties.

Think of it this way. You are under threat from PEACE if you remain friendly to EDEN. Slovakia allowed EDEN countries and many neutral countries to use their country as a training war and look what happened.
However, Ireland is under no threat from EDEN for being friendly with the UK and other PEACE countries. EDEN, especially the US and Canada which border Ireland, respect Ireland's neutrality, and want to be friends with Ireland if they join or don't, and will fight for Ireland if Ireland joins or doesn't.
PEACE will invade Ireland if it perceives them to be pro EDEN in anyways.

EDEN doesn't force its members to do anything, unlike PEACE, who threatened the French President if she didn't invade the US, and other notable examples of "DO WHAT WE SAY OR DIE"
