Neurath for Party President!
For the glory of the Thai Nation!
This great nation of Thailand has seen its fortunes rise drastically in the last few months. Coming out of the twin shadows of corruption and political opaqueness, the previous presidencies of Jack Roberts, Korbin King, Guy Kilmore, and the current Roberts Administration have led Thailand into a new era, one marked with prosperity and freedom. For this era to continue, we of the PUP must choose a leader who will support the advances made by our glorious leaders.
It is in this spirit that I announce my candidacy for Presidency of the Pattana Unity Party.
Although I started out my eLife in the nation of eItaly, I will always consider Thailand to be my home country. It is rare to find a place where one's voice is automatically heard in whatever context one wishes it to be heard. The actions and decisions of our previous three administrations truely reflect the will of the people.
Yet, although Thailand is shining in the light of prosperity, the light could still be brighter. I feel that the most important crisis facing our nation today is our lack of workers to fuel our economy. Thailand has the potential to become a great power on the world stage, rivalling such established ones as the USA, Romania, Italy, and Indonesia. The one thing holding us back is our lack of workers. As President of the PUP, I would ensure all citizens of Thailand that the government will be pressured to do everything in its power to alleviate this most dire of problems.
Yet, I do not expect you voters to just leave the future of Thailand in the hands of a few party elders. As PUP President, transparency would be one of the highest goals of mine.
For the future of Thailand and the PUP, I urge all of you to vote on election day. I ask for your vote not as a politician, but as a fellow citizen with only the national welfare in mind.

Good luck! It is good to have an election where we can get down and actually have a choice.
Even though I am the other choice I do hope it is a spirited run. If you are interested in having some sort of debate with someone moderating or a town hall type debate to make for something interesting I'd think it would be fun.
It would also help to let everyone get to know us better.
If you want, as the current party head I can post a townhall discussion article for yinz to answer questions in.

Hey, pretty cool! We get some activity in this party for voting. Both of you guys are great candidates and active, and this is going to be an interesting election. At the very least, it'll bring both of you some more exposure.
