Another corner is turned in the development of eNB. Following excellent support, including that of a number of persons running for Congress, sufficient funds were raised to create NB Forest Products, a company to take advantage of New Brunswick's high timber resource. This company represents employment by New Brunswickers, for New Brunswickers, and in New Brunswick, surely the first of its kind, and an exciting sign of the growth of eNB.

To be sure, the road for NBFP is a difficult one. Given the present timber market, NBFP can only provide minimum wages, even for skilled workers. As such, it will in its infancy be a labour of love. Despite this, or perhaps even because of it, one must salute the indomitable spirit which led to its creation, against elogic, as an expression of pride of place.

ITEM 2: The move to maritime pride and resurgence continues to flourish. Spem Reduxit draws to the attention of its readers the excellent site begun by "PEI Pride", the sister organization to NB Pride which shares many of its goals. Well done.

ITEM 3: Spem Reduxit some time ago drew attention to the chronic need for training in our nation, an edition which received wide-spread acclaim and circulation and was on the front page of eCanadian news. Since that time, there have been two training wars through our allies the Americans. The problem for eCanada persists, and Spem Reduxit continues to consider this a test of the Jacobi administration. We hope for immediate improvement, otherwise we must wonder how Jacobi's chosen partners will fare in the coming congressional elections.
