Liebe Eidgenossen

Dear eSwiss
Today was Switzerland for the second time surprised with a Natural Enemy law. This time from France and no one knew exactly again why. Therefore the Federal Department of Foreign Affairs (FDFA) prepared resp. expanded once again together with the Federal Department of Defence, Civil Protection and Sport (DDPS) the defensive actions. Especially in terms of MPPs we have our work intensified and got new partners in our boat.
The situation was defused quickly as we could contact Nicolas Bonaparte, President of France. President Bonaparte assured us, that he opposes this Natural Enemy law and gave us of the request for a confirmation this link to a post in the Frensh Forum. According to gathered information was the law proposed from O_Neill because he was bored of the two months permanent debate regarding the invasion in Switzerland (link to debate).
It's now exactly 18:07 eWorld Time and the law run still 21 hours. The current result is 4 YES and 5 NO votes. The Frensh Congress has altogether 39 members of parliament and the law need for approval minimum 66% of the votes. I ask the Swiss National Council keep your voting to the end, therewith we not careless lost our 10% bonus as far as the law in France will be accepted. If the law in France not passed, vote NO. If you have not the time for waiting, vote NO.
The Swiss Government and its partners will take currently the necessary measures as far as the risk exists.

Head of the FDFA

Hard to read as always Clifford, but guys, he's right, VOTE NO
If we declare war on France I am going to laugh and cry at the same time ;_;
Good chance to fulfill the quest of killing 50 enemies protecting your country.
the "Legal" notice at the end is confrontational, it's counter-productive at a time when the country is torn by language and cultural differences. drop it.
on topic, though...
MoFA Clifford acted swiftly to communicate directly with France, to assess the situation and have both nations' positions laid clearly on the table. He also found me on IRC and sent me off to be sure of our relationships with allies and friendly nations who might come to our aid if need be. the whole situation was handled quickly and cleanly, and quite professionally.. a fine demonstration of "Swiss First" in action.
thank you Colonel Custer.
GOOOOOOOOO FRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAANCE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Voted
we are ready for WAR butt first of all we are ready for PEACE
q2 ticket is in my pocket : P

I wouldn´t drop the legal note either, since I am also someone who isn´t used to the English language at all.
In my opinion it is just a really wise safety precaution in the case of misunderstandings, caused of the lack of English skills.
But is not like any of our articles have a legal force. The only thing that can have one is a law from congress. That's it!
We can vote NO, the law in France not passed :>
switzerland is safe \o/

Thanks for emphasizing my point. There we have one of those misunderstandings I was referring to.
