My State is Gone. Now what?

Day 608, 19:26 Published in USA USA by Chris Stanwick

On July 17th, Alaska was overrun by the dastardly Russians, their first conquest in the current world war. I am the current Congressman from the State of Alaska and was forced to evacuate my state with as many citizens as I could convince to leave their homes. Whereas before I could see Russia from my house, now the Russians are occupying it! I am now residing in New Jersey so that I can fight as many times possible each day against the wretches who took away my home.

So, now my state is gone, currently occupied by the Canadians. Now what?

I will be returning to Congress to continue working on the war effort and all of my projects that I started this term. Our nation is still in peril, and it would be irresponsible of me to leave now when I am needed most. I am currently the Congressman from Alaska, Deputy Secretary of State, a member of the Foreign Relations Advisory Committee, head of the Office of Developing Regions, Director of the National Emergency Evacuation Program, Ambassador to Ireland, Secretary of Communications in the UIP, and a Commanding Officer of the Home Guard. I have a large staff of over a dozen staffers that assist me in the day to day operation of all my projects. I am the most active citizen of the United States and the most active member of Congress.

Citizens of Vermont, it is now your turn to step into the national spotlight. Since Alaska is no longer a part of the United States, I have decided to make Vermont my new home. I ask for your support in my re-election to Congress. I will continue to give this nation everything I have to ensure our victory against the PEACE aggressors. Do not let them win. Do not let them silence me. Return me to Congress on July 25th to fight against PEACE and all of America's enemies. Thank you.
