My interview with Vice Presidential candidate Cerb.

Day 683, 21:05 Published in USA USA by yono

Yono: Ok cerb, thank you for a moment of your time.

Yono: 1) Many presidents and their running mates promise change, how are you two different? What promises have you delivered in the past that would lead the eAmerican people to believe your different?

Cerb: This is a great question. I haven't received one of this nature, and it's a good point. Even in eRepublik, people make promises they can't keep.

Woxan and I are different because we set up realistic goals and plan out strategies for success. We don't need to make lofty promises. Here are some examples:

A) Woxan created the "Donate to your Favorite Tanks" initiative. Straight, to the point. No bureaucracy required, but still an awesome idea if even a handful of people contribute.

😎 I was put in charge of the Flying Unicorn Squadron after Chris Willson went back to school. I knew we were understaffed and couldn't handle the increasing volume. I got some more people onboard, and we handled over 2500 requests in a span of two weeks.

C) Woxan revived the Media Mogul project started by Cynic Grim domestically (now the American Media Mogul project). He boosted the sub count of several key newspapers by several hundred each. This is important to increase the reach of patriotic and informational announcements.
(Will answer 2-4 in a separate reply)

Yono: 2)If you could send one message to PEACE that sums up your administration what would it be?

Cerb: If we were sending this directly to PEACE?

"We regret to inform you that any further attempts to invade the USA will also meet with failure. We hope that you realize that gamers enjoy playing in their home country, and won't allow you to oppress them forever."

"A failure to realize this on your part will result in further efforts from the US and EDEN to liberate occupied nations and provide everyone with the sovereign opportunity to play their country as they see fit."

However, this message seems mostly comical at best, since PEACE would never simply roll over and surrender. 😉

Yono: 3)Who are the possible picks that come to mind for the Head`s of the Defense and State department`s which could be THE most important department`s right now?

Cerb: Several people come to mind for Defense Department. We like Publius and Tyler Jenkins, for their extensive history in military and PTO-related efforts. Folks like Eugene Harlot, Leroy Coombs, Lucius Varenus, etc and so forth would still be involved in the JCS or other capacities, though, obviously.

Yono: 4)When Emerick resigned what was your feeling about it and is there a plan in place in case the eflu gets to woxan? Cerb: I was disappointed that Emerick was resigning midstream, in the middle of our attempts to extract PEACE from our regions. However, the Cabinet got together, talked it out, and moved forward.

Woxan is a hard-working, dedicated guy, and I believe that he treats this commitment very seriously. However, so did Emerick, and emergencies do happen. A Woxan Cabinet will be a well-oiled machine, with individual people in roles who can function without the President needing to hold their hand.

We believe in empowering Cabinet members so they can do their jobs without micro-management from the big chair. Even if some worst-case scenario were to occur, and Woxan had to resign, the Cabinet would be setup to function and transition to a new leader.
Yono: Thank you for your time Cerb
