The New Patriot

First off, if you didn't read my last article I think you should do so now. Then read the eU.S. president's latest article here:

They are eerily similar. From the title and picture which are almost identical, to the content which hits upon the same points. <a href='hhttp://www.erepublik.com/en/citizen/profile/1195841'>scrabman</a> confirms all of my previous fears about the fall of ATLANTIS.

ATLANTIS IS DEAD

The war of aggression eSweden started with eGermany was the straw that broke the camel's back. I have been fighting for eGermany. With about 7 hours left in the fight eGermany is losing. If you are unsure of why you should fight for eGermany please read this article:

It is a convincing piece on why eSweden is in the wrong. It also has a bold outlook to the future. My favorite part is the following:

"We are a people to build our alliances based on mutual respect. With the downfall of ATLANTIS, eUSA needs to evaluate what kind of standards we should expect from an ally, not just their military strength alone, and what kind of alliances will hold the hearts (and therefore the fighting power) of the American people. Imagine there was no more ATLANTIS, no more PEACE, just the countries around the world. What kind of alliance would we want among those nations? What kind of friendships would benefit all of those involved in the best way?

Indonesia is strong, but PEACE was created with many countries much weaker than eUSA. They have found a way to collectively fight against big muscle countries and have used fear as fuel to march forward rather than be paralyzed by it. If PEACE could do that, then eUSA can do it too."


It is very easy to replace eUSA with eSpain. We need to form a new alliance with those countries we respect and respect us. It is hard to respect eSweden when they turn on a former ally and then complain about it when everyone else doesn't gang up on eGermany with them. The ATLANTIS alliance has clearly split into two different factions and I think it is important for eSpain to join the side that favors diplomacy to destruction, words to war, trade to treachery.

While I am level 12, I am still very new to this game. That being said, this is the most diplomatically important time for eSpain since I have started playing. ATLANTIS is gone. Former allies have become enemies. Our place in the world is uncertain. To forge new and lasting relationships we must be sure of ourselves. We must state our principles and stick to them. We must ally ourselves with great nations that hold the same beliefs. We must also mentor smaller, younger nations who are looking for sure-handed guidance. Make no mistake about it, this is a dangerous time for eSpain. However, it is a time of great opportunity. We have a chance to emerge from these tumultuous times an undeniable leader on the world stage. Anything less is a failure.
