Musings from the latest UKPP Party Conference

Day 2,496, 18:31 Published in United Kingdom United Kingdom by BaronChris

Another UKPP Party Conference, and with it new questions and policies. Though I'd write up the questions and outcomes discussed. As a party leading for transparency, I think this is a good step. Alfagerm lead the conference and the agenda. The following was discusse😛

What did you all think of the polling idea we did for congress?
Good idea and will be used through gDocs.

Do we use it to reserve the top spots, Use it for all spots and is the PP allowed to weed out certain candidates before the poll?
Congress members will receive their space based on their place in the party polls, dependent on the amount of votes they receive. A system where the PP chooses the list past the first top 3/4 spaces (based on activeness) was discussed, but not passed.

How many players can the voter vote for?
Each party member can vote for 3 candidates, as per the rules before

Can/Should the PP be able to stand for Country President?
The UKPP PP will not be able to run for CP.

Only UKPP members who have been PP of the party can stand for CP?
A decision was not reached on the matter, which leads to the next question...

How about we have a party-wide ballot on the question?
Motion passed unanimously and should happen soon.

Tangbod then took the floor to discuss Citizenship.
A discussion was had, including the possibility of a CS committee, but no decision was made on the issue.

Any other business
None.

Party Conference Adjourned.

Alfagrem was heard to say "UKRP sucks so bad" as he left the building 😛
