Military Unit Basics

Day 2,091, 02:37 Published in United Kingdom United Kingdom by HebronGazelle

Ever wanted to be a great commander of thousands of soldiers? Of run a small mercenary unit to help you rake in the money? You might just want to get a group of friends together to have a shared military unit, whatever your reason this guide will explain the basics of owning your own military unit.

Obtaining a Military Unit

There are three ways of getting your own military unit. The first is setting up a new military unit, which costs 40 gold. You will get to choose the logo and name for free, as well as change all of the other settings. The second method is to buy a military unit off another player, the prices vary but will always be less then the cost of setting up your own. However, you will have to pay 2 gold to change the name, all other settings can be changed for free. The third way is for the command to be passed down from a commander to a 2nd commander. This is usually done with established military units and the running of it will stay the same.

Settings and Commands
Commanders have a range of tools at their disposal, from paying for combat order to stopping people joining the military unit. First, we will look at daily and combat orders. Commanders and captain can set the daily order of a military unit, they can choose from battles of all allies as well as the countries resistance wars.

Choosing a daily order.

Combat orders are a new addition to the game which allows the military unit to pay its soldiers for fighting in certain battles. This money comes from members donating to the fund. Commanders can change several options in the combat order including money paid(per million damage), campaign, divisions, fighter citizenship, budget and maximum domination in battles for payment.

Another setting that military unit commanders can set is the method of players joining the military unit. Commanders can choose from open access, strict access(based on players rank) and invite only access. When players have joined, Commanders can kick, appoint as 2nd commander and appoint as commanders.

A very high recruitment policy.

Financing and Organisations

If you want to supply members in your military unit you will need a way of getting those supplies. Many military units have Q7 weapon factories which their members will work in the produce Q7 weapons for the whole unit. Q7 weapons factories can cost a lot so with a whole military unit to supply the cost of these factories will be thousands of gold. This is the method of supply for most large military units. Some military units do buy their supplies off the marketplace or on the black market, usually an option for smaller military units.

In the eUK, the government does offer organisations to many military units. These organisations can be used for holding the supplies but also making money off the monetary market. They will buy and sell gold and money at different rates to make profits, which can be used for supplies. This is for another article though so we will not go into details.

An organisation of The Legion, I wonder where their money has gone?
