Message to the D.R.E.

Fellow members of the Democratic Republicans in Exile (D.R.E.), I bring you a message. Our party, the Democratic Republicans, was PTO'd last month and we have been in exile ever since.
DemReps in Exile
In the mean time we have all found our homes in other parties. Some joined the UIP or the Feds to help them avoid a PTO of their own. Others joined party leadership in creating the APF (I was one). Still others found homes elsewhere in the smaller parties. But all remember the Democratic Republicans fondly, and secretly embrace their membership in the DRE.
But the time for the DRE is over. We cannot survive as a party-in-exile for long. And that brings me to our choice. Party President elections are on the 15th and we have the opportunity to retake our rightful seat in the Democratic Republicans, or we can choose to set aside our ideals of the past and move on with our new parties.
In the final act of the Democratic Republicans in Exile, we officially endorse Zacharius Axeland for party president of the Democratic Republicans. Zacharius Axeland's Platform Zach is a long timeDemRep/CVP who dabbled in recruitment, but specialized in FUN. I ask that this month the DemRep PP election be not just a vote for Zach, but a referendum on the future of the Democratic Republicans.
On the 15th, I ask all former Democratic Republicans join the party again, and vote for Zacharius Axeland. If someone other than Zach wins, then I want everyone to immediately quit the party and return to your current respective homes. If Zach wins, we all rejoin the party and return to our march to the top. If he loses, we abandon the party to the scavengers.
DRE, lets see if we still have any strength left.

We have regrouped in the Republicans. The old DR's are dead, a new version of it now thrives.
hate to say it but the party is pretty much dead. Even if the party takes back the presidency there has already been too much damage done to the party.

A realistic one, the party is almost going to have to start completely over since quite a few Demrep members have settled into other larger parties like the APF and there haven't been any new members into the Demreps in 2 months. Then you take into account that some of the demreps in exile probably quit and you have a much smaller party base then you had before the PTO. Right now they are 400 members short of being in the top 5 and I just don't see that happening. Pessimistic I know but it's the truth.
