Meet Christopher L. Ripple

Christopher L. Ripple

This week, I sat down with one of our newer members, Christopher L. Ripple (aka Rippen). .

You are a new Airborne member. Could you tell us a bit about your past experience in eRepublik?

I first started Erepublik in July of 2009, when production was still skill based and fewer op soldiers and the energy system was more limited. I got plugged in to this military organization when it was still an official militia. Those were good days (man I miss them). Then I died when they implemented gold trainers. I came back in summer of 2012 and joined the Mobile Infantry and stayed there for over a year until I joined the Airborne about a month ago due to the fact that it started to feel like the MI was dying on the vine.

]There are many MUs you might have joined. Why did you choose the Airborne?

The reason i joined was that my former MI people were moving over to the Airborne

How has your time with us been? Can you describe what you have liked your experience? Are there things you would like to see improved?

My time here in the Airborne has been good so far. The people here are enjoyable and the weapons supplied are nice to have. I also blame Erepublik for the high weapons usage. Maybe bump up the supplies from 18 to 20; that makes more mathematical sense to me .

Have you had any surprising, unusual or funny experiences while with the Airborne?

Every day as we have our conversations in irc and the discussions and the fights. Oh the horrors, THE HORRORS!!!!!

Would you recommend the Airborne to a qualified friend who was looking for an MU to join?

Yes I would, I would also recommend it to an unqualified friend too due to the fact that we can support them as a community and get them to where they need to be. They just need to be willing to be active.

Thank you Christopher.

(I would note that we do enforce our 10,000 strength minimum requirement.)
