2nd Lt. Nfin

I had the pleasure of talking with 2nd Lt. Nfin last week.

When I asked if you had time for a for a chat, I thought I had already published an interview with you. To my surprise, I found that I have not formally talked with you. So by way of introduction, could you tell us a bit what brought you to the Airborne? Could you describe your career with us?

I came to the Airborne after I was recommended by a friend in the Mobile Infantry about two years ago! I made lots of friends and the experience was great! I left AB and transferred to The Marines after I acquired a higher amount of strength but soon retired from erepublik. When I came back I joined other military units but could not find any that had the same group of friends and leadership! I traveled around to different MUs and even did my own this for a while but found myself missing the Airborne so I returned. During my first tenure I was the commanding officer of the 82/1 platoon and eventually made it as the executive officer of the 82nd Airborne Division! I currently serve as the executive officer of the 101/1 platoon and could not be happier!

You mention your extended absence from our ranks. What changes have you noticed since your return? Do you think the changes have improved the AB experience for our soldiers? Are there other aspects of the AB experience you would like to see changed.

The new changes to the ranking system are great! Being able to give the members of some incentives to get active and earn higher ranks was a great idea! The only thing I would change if I could would be our in-game military unit structure! The Marines have their own in-game MU and the damage between the rest of the branches and The Marines is always split for national MU contests! If we combined our damage we could always be competitive for that top spot when contests roll around!

What is the single thing you like best about the AB? What annoys you the most?

I love the community within the AB and other branches! Nothing in particular annoys me, however, I'm sure something will pop up that annoys me sooner or later

Would you recommend the Airborne to a qualified friend who was looking for an MU?

Certainly! The AB provides excellent leadership and training even for semi-experienced players. We have tons of active players within AB and the other branches of our MU!

Thank you Nfin.
