Matsumi for Congress
I., Matsumi, will be running as an TFC candidate for a Congress seat to serve our beloved nation, Japan.
As a congress member, I will support and push a laissez-faire agenda. Income taxes should be reduced because the government's budget surplus should be kept to a minimal. In eRepublik, there are no roads, primary schools, or highways for the government to maintain.
Government spending should be reduced and/or be shifted more to our military, which protects our sovereignty -- an especially important task in this politically volatile eWorld. Although PEACE has returned to being in its original defensive nature, fissures have emerged between its members. Indonesia has left, and France and Hungary are at war. As result, Japan must help pick up the slack by increasing funds to its military.
I will serve the interests of my constituents (the people of Kanto) as well as I can. To serve them, I will be transparent by publishing reports of Congress' happenings (here in this journal). Also, I will set up myself to be easily contactable and engage myself in dialogue with the people of Kanto.

I dont think your party can nominate you because the Orange party is not in the top 5, you will need to join another party which is in the top 5 if you want to participate in the running of the election.
After the election, you are free to switch back to your party.

You should speak with Fae about standing under SOS party as NAP is definitely NOT going to be Top 5 for Congress elections.

If we reach rank five in the next day or so, I would welcome Matsumi to run from the SOS Brigade. Our platform is also similar to what you are running for, so there should be no issue.
Well, not saying much, but with the MPP costs rising to 100 Gold a piece, there is not "government surplus."

No worries. I'm sure I can downsize the government budget without any danger to our country. After all, I've used my eye for efficiency to eclipse Japan's gun market.
