Hello, I'm Aersidius and I'm running for congress in the state of Kansas on December 25th. I am a hard worker and haven't missed one day of work since my birth on Day 704. I am the Deputy Ambassador to eMalaysia and the editor-in-chief of Press Pass. On Day 748 I graduated with honors from the United States Training Corps. I am currently a member of the Delta Company of the Home Guard 3rd Platoon.
Citizen Support and Growth: The eUSA has many good programs for assisting and improving new citizens. Meals on Wheels assists the hungry, Gifting Exchange helps those lacking wellness, Flying Eagles provides transportation to fortress states, and many others assist citizens gain knowledge and improvement in other areas. If you currently permanently reside in a state other than Florida or California, please make your way to our fortress states. You will be able to take advantage or hospitals, allowing you to fight more each day.
What we need to work on is recruiting players. This has began through the Friendly Firepower Program and the 5000 Shouts Program, which uses the following links: http://tinyurl.com/yjwfnua and http://tinyurl.com/yccz28d. Increasing the number of citizens, and their strength, will greatly increase the eUnited States.
Military: The eUnited States is what it is, and has what is has, due to the strength and efforts of our military. I will not knowingly vote for any motion or action which will decrease the strength or funding of the eUnited States military. I also support the various militia groups. Seal Team 6 is an asset on any assignment they are given. I'm sure that with the proper support other militias, such as Easy Company and Task Force 141, will grow to be vital strike forces as well. Kudos to the military and government for integrating the militias, rather than writing them off.
The United States Training Corps provides basic training to new military recruits in a well structured method. I highly recommend this program to all citizens regardless of future military aspirations. You will learn vital information that will keep you well and make you stronger.
Taxes: Should the military or citizen support programs require additional funding, I will vote for an increase in taxes. Otherwise I will do my best to evaluate the situation and vote accordingly. Taxes are in place not to burden the citizens, but to provide essential services and keep mutual protection pacts in place.

Infrastructure: Some citizens, on forums and in their newspapers, believe we need more Q5 hospitals and defense systems. If they spent their time better by recruiting new players, this conversation would be warranted. Defense systems only provide a bonus percentage to the base defense of an area. The defense of a region depends upon it's population. Until we have population to support them, these purchases are a waste that I will not support. Even if we were able to purchase the infrastructure for another fortress state, we would weaken the two existing ones by dividing the current available population.
Foreign Affairs: The eUSA should not enter into any treaty or alliance in which any part of our sovereignty is lost. Our current EDEN alliance should be closely monitored to guarantee no infringement on our activities as a sovereign nation. EDEN is a valuable alliance for the eUSA, as we noticed during our attack on Kyushu, Japan. Over a thousand troops from EDEN assisted us, while Canada (our Brolliance and EDEN) ally helped hold the North American lines.
While the eUnited States is currently drawing closer to our EDEN allies, we must not forget our other alliances. Many of our non-EDEN allies have been alienated by our entry into the EDEN alliance. Care must be taken to not push other countries towards the Phoenix alliance.
Transparency: I believe in all government actions and discussions being available to the public, with the exception of those that affect national security. I will provide all answers requested by the public in a timely manner, provided they will not breach the security of the eUSA.
Upon being elected for office each congressman is given a five gold award. Mine will be split among the following: Task Force 141, Seal Team 6, Meals on Wheels, and The Wasteland Commision.
In summation: To strengthen the eUnited States, vote Aersidius, move to a fortress state, apply for the USTC, and start recruiting.

gl, I don't know who else is running in Kansas, but unless it's a seasoned congressman, you should win. I hope the AAP moves voters for you. Also notice how 7 individual members of various military branches support your platform - this should tell people something.
