Majester Saves
Majester
My fellow Australians,
I hereby announce my bid for Prime Minister of Australia.
The challenges and tribulation we face make being Prime Minister of Australia a very serious job. We are surrounded by near-overwhelming enemies and struggling potential allies. Nothing is easy for Australia. Every gain requires perseverance, hard work and a little luck. You deserve a candidate who appreciates this and has a record of working towards improving our lot in the world.
That candidate is me.
Domestic Policy
I have jumped the gun a little and motivated for tax reforms to speed up the economy and to stimulate some revenue. Ironically, lowering taxes serves to increase consumption. The trick is establishing the right balance. The ANP's infin has started off the popular reforms. After the CP elections I will ask Senate once more to evaluate the effects so that we can refine them further.
Victoria
Relations between Australia and Indonesia are stable if not as amicable as we would like. Indonesia is blossoming like never before. Australia have shown our honour and good faith these last months. Surely this prosperous nation can now return Victoria to us? I believe this will bring us closer together in the name of a more stable, unified Oceania. Return Victoria home and build our relationship.
New Zealand
New Zealand have been troublesome. The relationship has been volatile despite our desire to bring our nations closer. While Tasmania may seem a surplus region, it has economic and political value to us. Australia recognise that the economic gain may be more for New Zealand. I empathise with New Zealand struggling with few regions - Australia are there too. I believe that there is a way to come to a mutually beneficial arrangement. I believe that continued war is pointless; robbing us both of precious resources. My team will work on this with priority so that we can both grow and the ANZAC Nation can strengthen ties.
Foreign Relations
Australia have in my tenure as Minister of Defence in cooperation with Foreign Affairs worked tirelessly to improve our relations with allies and neighbours. This work will continue in an effort to build a region that is less hostile to Australia and which ultimately benefits all our allies. You need to sacrifice for the respect of friends. We have both given of ourselves and won many unlikely friends.
Australia has suffered long since our repression. We are a cocoon forged in pain and darkness about to hatch into a bright new world.
There is hope.
There is a future.
And you take center stage in it.
Vote Majester in August

They wont "return" anything.

Seems promising. You have my vote.
I would endorse this candidate, but then, I'm also a candidate. I'll probably vote for you, Timeoin is a noob 😉
Majester ftw. The only real candidate.
Timeoin is a lulz candidate
Fantastic article. Realistic but hopeful. Negotiations with our neighbours will be challenging.
Stop fantasizing about me, boys, and start fighting like hell in the Canterbury battle! >: (

Ugh.. another election picking the lesser of two evils. Forget it, I just won't vote unless someone decent stands up.
Implying Majester isn't decent huh?
Majester for Prime Minister!
I like Majester...
In other news, Majester popularity has gone down 99% since Best4bond came out of the Majester closet.
Arf TBH this is another hand-picked election where there is stuff all difference between Tim and Maj and another popularity contest where party support means more than individual policy. We all know the play - say what you need to get votes but with one being an Independent and another a third-party supported candidate how do we really know what we're buying?
I smell another takeover coming up where poor decisions today will mean our regions will be lost - again - and the incoming Prime Minister will have no Senate to oppose him. And how does he pull it off - you ask? By pointing to the fella before him and going "It was his fault, he didn't do (insert such and such here)".
About time candidates stood on their own two feet. Game mechanics holds democracy back so much, the rest is up to us to stop using it as an excuse to expect anything less than a REAL race.
