Local News, Day 723-724 (with a little International)

Since things are rather quiet here today (likely because a good portion of our active population is helping defend Malaysia). If this keeps up, I'll alternate national and local news to keep things lively. That said, it seems I might be joining the fight soon as well! Being new, I don't have the resources to commute just to publish here in the Philippines, so subscribe now or review my efforts later once I'm back
War Plans
If you'd like to keep abreast of current events in the Indonesian / Malaysian war, subscribe to these two newspapers:
Army Bulletin of Malaysia [1]
Indonesian War Orders [2]
However, before you do, I recommend installing eRepublik Plus so that you can easily translate the Indonesian announcements and comments. [3]
I don't know enough about the war system to even consider doing a blow-by-blow, but you can probably find what you are looking for (one way or the other) in the eIndonesian or eMalaysian news areas (including satire/sarcasm being lost in translation)[4]. It's a mix of pro/anti-war sentiment trying to boost/drop morale of the eIndonesian troops. And if you don't really care about the war, just daydream about the New War Module (thanks for the heads-up, GODD). [5]
PSA and other Announcements
The Department of Education publishes this frequently, but this is a GREAT list of resources. Everything from a eFilipino Beginners Guide and FAQ, to a Business Guide and links to the Forum and Military.[6]
Beyond the Forum, the eFilipino IRC channel has been active lately - feel free to join the fun! [7]
Our Director of Foreign Affairs, Keegan Knoll is seeking ambassadors. This is a great chance to get to know the other countries - and let them know how wonderful our country is! [8]
Finally, the Ministry of Merriment is seeking more participants to their story-making contest. They are expecting at least six participants, three in each language category. If you would like to submit a story but do not have a newspaper, CONTACT ME and I will post it here. [9][10]

I'm really surprised Anarchist didn't put in for the position - he seemed to really enjoy the role. I'll let people know there are positions still open once I get back from shooting people
