So I decided against a rickroll.

I am running for congress in South West of United Kingdom to represent your voice and make my stand in our current internal politics. In this newspaper article, I will first describe my stand concerning matters relevant to you and to our country, and then describe myself so that you understand me better.

Main points:

1. Helping lower VAT and income tax both to 5% so that more players will want to stay
2. Encouraging players around the world to start business in the eUK so workers will have better wages
3. Making more friends with newer eUK players and getting them to join in our in-game community
4. Helping out new players with advice and donations

Stands

MILITARY

I believe in non-aggression towards all other countries except possibly imperialist regimes.

Holding the same principle, the UK should aim to stop imperialism in the world. I believe the most interesting eRepublik is one in which everyone has a chance.

I agree wholeheartedly with training wars. I would gladly pay more from the government's pockets to hold more training wars until all UK citizens can fight every day.

I believe in keeping in as many willing and dedicated players as possible instead of training the strongest. This can be done by reducing taxes, keeping up wages, and better communications.

ECONOMY

I believe the VAT of our country should definitely be lowered. As of now, the UK has a dearth of companies and an excess of workers. That is part of why our wages are so much lower than the norm. More competing and competitive manufacturing/constructions companies will solve this issue

I have seen that many companies are not facing their true potential. A manufacturing company may foolishly hire 20 workers, or they may be buying iron from the eUK. I will support any education programmes that help them learn to do their best.

DIPLOMACY

I am for joining an alliance as soon as possible. Alone, any diplomatic stance we take will be considered against us. If we piss off the United States, the United States hates us. If we join PEACE and then piss off the United States, the United States hates PEACE. We are not able to maintain national sovereignty alone.

Fortis, or Eden, but if these are possible, I would prefer them to PEACE. This is because by joining PEACE the statement we are making is that we are too afraid to lose.

PEACE would not value our existence; we would be like a vassal country to the PEACE alliance.

SOCIETY

Perhaps most importantly, I am absolutely for education of any sort.

I have helped many newbies in my eLife, and most of them have decided to continue playing and show kindness to others as well.

Strength in numbers can be one of the greatest advantages the eUK can exploit.

Personal info

I started playing this game 3 months ago, and I have been active both in the eRepublik forums and the eUK forums, having posted more than a thousand times in the eRepublik forums. I initially left the eUK for better wages and more frontline action in Romania (at that point, the UK had only about one fight every week), then when Romania fell along with its wages I went to Spain for the same reasons. I have never forgotten the UK, however, and have always planned to come back; now that I am here, I hope I will make good friends and be able to have my voice heard in the country.

Some small achievements:

Started a charity that has helped almost 30 noobs, and will continue to help about 100 more noobs

Has 2 companies in the eUK
