Letter to the German citizens

Dear citizens of Germany,


Dear citizens of the world,


in this article I want to clarify a number of things for the German citizens, as well as make a few statements.

The last weeks have been a turmoil of events. The war machines have been unleashed and are showing their full power, countries are taking a political and military stance and both great articles as misleading propaganda have taken the headlines of the news. Especially the news I see and hear regarding Germany worries me and I feel the need to clarify a number of things.

But first of all I want to congratulate Romania and Atlantis for a great battle. After an initial victory for Indonesia, Romania has managed to recapture the region in the single largest battle yet thus returning the conflict to the borders it started with.


Germany
In Germany there is a heated debate on the joining of an alliance. There are a number of articles with misleading information and often even false facts. Though one article even said that in PEACE GC a small country would have no voice, I can assure you this assumption holds no ground. In fact, I have access to all information within PEACE GC. So let me show you something:

I don’t think I can be more clear.

The German government at the time in secrecy decided to join PEACE. As an Alliance we care for our members and we wanted to help Germany in returning their regions. During the revolts and with the help of the PEACE freedom fighters Germany reclaimed its original territory. Afterwards Indonesia immediately gave Germany access to a Q5 hospital.
In order to let things run more smoothly within Germany the plan was to keep Germany as a secret member for now. In the meanwhile Germany could arrange its internal affairs and later on the German-Austrian Union also became part of this. As for protection, every country in the world knew that PEACE had helped Germany in gaining freedom, so several PEACE countries signed Mutual Protection Pacts with Germany.

However, it is with the Union of Austria and Germany where the problems started. The contract regarding this Union, ultimately a decision between Chicco and Isy, also contained training for citizens of Hungary. Hungary had a Mutual Protection Pact with Germany and the attack of Austria on Germany would trigger this MPP and open a war between Austria and Hungary as well. A part of the costs would be split and in return Hungary got a training ground for its soldiers. However, while this was in progress, Chicco suddenly bursted into anger about the Hungarian attack. An attack which was part of the deal. Also Isy, the new president, seemed to have ‘forgotten’ the fact that Germany already applied for membership at PEACE GC.

Now, we are in a stage of uninformed German citizens, and even politicians, being mislead by false information in the news and on the forums. Hungary’s training ground at Burgenland is presented as an act of aggression, while it’s part of the contract. PEACE GC is presented as untrustworthy alliance that would not help a country like Germany. But in fact PEACE GC is the Alliance that made sure the liberation of a high number of German regions was such a success, releasing Germany from the grip of an Atlantis nation. It was PEACE GC that helped Germany in regaining their freedom, while it was Atlantis oppressing Germany. For the German citizens, this should be a clear fact.

Deceit and concerns
I’m concerned with the fact that Isy and Chicco suddenly started to push Germany in the direction of Atlantis, while not telling their citizens what actually happened. They pretended to be holding up their end of the bargain, but then suddenly switched sides. This became clear for me when Chicco’s stance over a night changed from “The best course of action, IMO, is to firmly anchor Germany-Austria in PEACE.” to “Hungary must be expelled from the alliance” and “There is only one reason why Germany-Austria would join Atlantis: if PEACE fails to protect her.”The reason he gave was the attack made by Hungary, the attack that was a clear part of the contract. Thus either Chicco just had his facts wrong (which I can forgive him) or it is just a total scam.

I hope this article clarifies the current situation for the German citizens and my explicit response in this article .
If Isy and Chicco want to act this way, through means of deceit and betrayal, then that’s their choice (though I hope they can explain themselves so I can retract these words). But I do not want the German citizens, closely related to my own nation, to be dragged through the mud because these two politicians tried to mislead them.

p.s: Chicco and/or Isy, if I’m wrong about either or both of you my apologies. If you do not have the intend of suddenly switching sides and joining Atlantis, my apologies. I for one am fully willing to publicly make an apology iff I'm wrong about your intentions. But for now I can just base my opinion on your actions, or lack of action.
