The bug has come to the public yesterday, large amounts of gold have been illegally spent, loads of wars created, tons of wellness packs probably were spent. What you do about that ? Well, you smoothly disable the donation and monetary market modules and say that you have everything under control. I did believe that, honestly, I really did.
But the fact is, YOU DID NOTHING! The bug still exists, THE FREAKING SAME PEOPLE THAT WERE EXPLOITING DID IT AGAIN TODAY! Yet, you enabled the failing modules BEFORE FIXING THE BUG!
This is the message that Warm said he received from you (the guy that was banned for using fake gold on the Spanish attack over Portugal):

Now what happened? Well, we've seen a lot of Spaniards exploiting the bug, we've seen 16 new resistance wars popping up like zits in a 16 yr old kid's face, and little time after that Spain attacks Portugal, when some Spaniards (like Warm) use illegal GOLD on those fights.
What you do next? Oh, right, canceled the donation module again with the battle on. How do you expect us to pay our military what they need to fight? And above all WHY YOU KEPT THE WAR MODULE ACTIVE WITHOUT FIXING A BUG THAT SIMPLY CREATES GOLD OUT OF NOTHING?
Face it, there's still a lot of illegal gold around, and you seem to have no freaking idea how to identify and delete it.
Is this fair ? Hell no. It's stupid. You only want to keep a certain image, you want to show the players that you work fast solving the problems. Well, guess what, YOU'RE NOT SOLVING THEM! YOU'RE HIDING THEM, and also cheering the players that break the rules.
I'm seriously considering leaving this game for good. I've spent a lot of my time here, I'm doing my best to build a strong Portuguese economy, been President for 3 months, but now I have this awful feeling that I've been wasting my time here in a game with no decent admins / developers.
I seriously hope I'm wrong, I will still fight for my country as long as I'm the President, the Portuguese people deserve my effort, this game doesn't.
I still play this game because I feel that I have huge responsibilities towards a whole community, and THAT'S IT. But still, I do hope you sort this out smoothly, after all I love the concept of the game, just hate the way you've been managing it.

well, altough a lot of what you say its true, id love to clarify a couple of things:
- the admin report is intended to say: we would really appreciate if you try something else, not using the exploit, instead of waht you said
- admin apparently doesnt know how to fix it still (altough they have been told how to do it by loads of people, starting with myself)
- all the damage dealed by warm was deleted from the wall
- the rest of us, spaniards, are fighting with legal gold
for the first time, we will be fighting 1 on 1 without cheats. lets see how you boast now...

I totally agree with my colleague from Portugal. It is for my community that I am still here. I hope that you will fix this on time. I urge you to do that. Every day I get messages from people leaving this game. And the game has lots of good points. I thank you for that. But soon there is an end to hope that it will become fair. So please fix it and do that fair.

1- the spaniards found the bug yesterday and create a great degree of havoc... true
2- most of spanish people who reproduced the bug wrote at same time articles pointing the admins the bug itself
3- there are people who was exploiting this bug for WEEKS, the sunday havoc is testimonial, easy to revert... but all the damage done in the last month is irreparable

I think that is more important than acuse PEACE or Atlantis or any citizenship at all.
What we are seeing is a completely loose administration of the game, someone that has no idea on how to deal with this kind of problems. Since the first day that eRepublik has a poor management and this bug proves it all.
The admins disable and enable and disable the modules once again, but they are forgetting the whole point of this... the impact that this has in the game, the way that this affects the game experience, for all of us.
I know that is really easy to say: "It was you who won with this bug...", "No it was you!" Please stop with this comments and try to discuss a way of get this game up.
This is what Admins want... to let us focus in many subjects rather the most important one: Their incompetence to manage this game!!!
We do all like this game, isn't it true? So let's work together to improve it, spamming Admins with messages and try to get their attention. After all, they exist because all of us, the players. You have no evidence of our cheating. You just have the screenshots of the donations that 4 or 5 spanish players made yesterday to prove that there was a bug that many players in your country and your allies had been using for weeks.

What to say now? Just that now it will be the people who used the gold saying that was the others and the others pissed with that situation. Its stupid and doesnt matter that it was a bug. If some one sees a bug it is suppose to report that bug and not use the bug to self profit and or its community. It is to REPORT.

Because the others that havent used the bug dont have to be punnished for something that they didnt make. who should be banned forever by IP and not email, should be the ones who used the bug. Admin, the solution is going to be expensive, but doing nothing is goint to ruin your investement. The solution should be
1. Fix the bug
2. Look back untill the release of V1 and check all the transactions
3. Bann the people who exploid the bug (since V1 was release) and remove their posetions, Or, etc)

I think the game needs a Money Reset. After the reset they should give some gold to the countries and Local currency for everyone.
To do this without creating more problems they MUST close the site.

Duplicating gold explains a lot of things. Not with a particular country but with particular people.
In my opinion, the admins only have 2 options. They ban every people that got directly involved with the illegal gold (which is not 2, but surely more than +30), or they close the game for repairs and reset the gold and money to the standards in every players and orgs accounts.
I don't think leaving everything like nothing ever happen will benefit the game and it's credibility. People won't stop playing, but they will definitely be more frustrated and less involved.
It's up to you admins, what do you want your business to be. A silly game where exploiting pays? or a credible game where honest citizens feel considered?
There are lots of games out there. Is eRepublik up to the competition?
