Sweet has produced a fantastic piece of tabloid writing and I think we should all vote it up to commemorate such an achievement. Using words such as 'Tar pit' and 'foul job' tingle the senses do they not?!
As nice and all as it is I'm afriad he has missed the head of the nail. He primary purpose is to criticize the lack of activity of Congress but has decided its the governments fault!
If he had done his research he would know that for the last few months Congress activity has been driven by Congress proposals. No Congress member yet this term has offered any proposal, relying totally on the government to create activity. If you look at the proposals from the last 3 Congresses, the only proposals the government have made are MPP's and Donations. Congress need to make their own activity. What use is a Congress that sit and wait for the government to entertain them. The reality is we don't have the time. Not only are we constantly discussing in the government threads, we have other Government Committee threads that we are doing work in.
So while its nice to know he can point fingers he needs to look before he leaps in the future, maybe a bit of research before writing an article. We can't set that kind of example for the new players he apparently craves so much!!

must be his inspiration for the article but he missed the analogy totally. think congress is a lot of new/ or old player whose first time it is/or old players that anyway do not have anything to propose. for the love of me i want to make a proposal now but cannot think of anything i would propose.

eIreland used to be a fun place to be, a place where ideas were discussed, projects were planned. Politics had a meaning, debates had a meaning since those were debates about game mechanics. And then people like WHS came with ther RL ideology, their comrades and started to play some other game.
Once the community supported that kind of Ireland, eIreland has died.
In this moment, the biggest project in Ireland is MoE article which says "Don't buy TG's before sales". The first comment is WHS's "Wow, great article"
We had so many useful projects which would gather the whole community, but it's all gone now. Even without the EVIL cromega and with great WHS (PP of a party which can be blamed for 2 robberies) in charge

^this was pretty much the point of my articled. Followed by the fact that both cp candidates mention virtually nothing but offsite legislation in their manifestos.
Are we not at this very moment handling more offsite legislation in congress?
