TWO Domination

This will happen when your alliance is ridiculously powerful. Gaining the likes of Greece directly into the alliance and other nations like Argentina and Romania to pour most of their damage to your side tends to help, and TWO has reaped what they've sowed. As a result, TWO has claimed dominance in the fluctuating world.

CoT's at times poor coordination, combined with its lower raw damage potential, have left it in a very vulnerable state. Though nations like Peru, Bulgaria, and Chile are used to varying levels of status, once secure countries like South Korea and Russia, and even the powerful nations like USA have all been defeated by the forces of TWO. The only remaining CoT nations are ones without major TWO rivalries and enemies, such as Belgium and Indonesia, and ones that have preexisting deals with such nations, such as Germany. TWO has essentially reached as far as it can without making more enemies, so congrats to TWO! I guess...For CoT, there's nowhere to go but up, I suppose.

HAM Gets Egged

Following a very successful invasion of USA by TWO forces, mainly Hungary, Serbia, and Poland, America has been able to regain regions with decent consistency, but holding any regions has been a sparse occurrence. Victories in Louisiana and Texas have been followed by quick mop-up jobs by Serbs, and Wyoming has constantly been denied by Hungarians intent on holding their conquests. The greatest failure so far has surely been Operation HAM.

Operation HAM involved a liberated Texas rushing into Taiwanese Mexico and liberating the Mexicans in alignment with a clever resistance campaign. However, with weak drain battles and poor night watches, a successful Texas was no match for a Taiwanese victory and Serbian chase back into Austin. Unfortunately for CoT and USA, it's been difficult to defeat the vastly greater numbers of TWO, and as such, USA remains wiped. The battle continues, non?

For Freedom

Currently, CoT is at it again. While previous attacks have besieged Hungarian and Serbian regions, this time the target is Poland, arguably the most stable of the three nations. With only scrappy Netherlands, nearly non-existent Czech Republic, and pacified France and Germany, there are five potential resistance wars for the Poles, yet only one country still fighting, at least officially. Unlike the unstable empires of Serbia and Hungary, Poland is arguably the stablest empire in the world (at least, that fights battles *glares at China😉, owning 100/100 with little issue. Hence, striking Poland seems to be an interesting option.

Yet, as the night shift arrives, and TWO's primetime arrives, CoT seems to be in very good shape, holding a solid lead in New York, a decent chance in Saxony, and quality drains in North Bohemia, Poitou Charentes, and Western Netherlands. In addition, Peru threatens to win a Colombian region, Mexico is all but assured its place on the map once more, and Taiwan is having its hands full with South Korea's RW as well. CoT is clearly the underdog, but TWO is going through hell, trying to hold down all the regions. CoT has shown its ability to win RWs. However, can they make use of their victories and string together a few moves? That remains to be seen...

Trouble in Paradise

CoT is going through hell, but it ain't roses in TWO either. Growing and amassing so many nations is a double-edged sword. With the great damage brings more potential for discourse within the rapidly expanding group. And with so many allies, there's always a chance that there will be clashes of interest. With Taiwan's and Thailand's attack on Mexico, Spain has caused shockwaves throughout the alliance. As fellow members of ROLA, Spain has made the effort of protecting their pal, despite directly going against TWO. In addition, Spain's fondness of Chile and previous airstrike on Argentina has made them heatedly against Argentina's acceptance, despite everyone else's willingness to take their Argie damage friends. Tensions are rising.

In a heated article, Poland has also proclaimed their displeasure at TWO, claiming that they would not participate in any successor alliance that the TWO members hatched up. Though Spoland's issues with TWO are being magnified by anti-TWO and belittled by TWO, it's clear that there is issue within HQ. TWO may hold on while their victory is sustained, but it wouldn't be surprising if dissent became more and more verbal and prominent as the days go by, and issues threaten to tear the fabric linking the nations. It's trouble in paradise, mates.

Feels Like Home

For better or for worse, it seems that Croatia is fitting into its government-in-exile in India. Now that Croatia has its two lil bros Albania and Bosnia in its reach, the Croats have begun securing their area, making friends in the region. Of course, Croatia and China go back to their days in EDEN. Croatia has also weighed its influence into Pakistan, and has now signed a pact for good relations with Iran. Also with its good if tender relations with Turkey thanks to times in TWO, Croatia has all but ensured that its base is secure in India. Now, can they use their good fortune in India to their advantage and stage assaults in Serbian-occupied territory? That, my friends, is the golden question. But as long as Croatia exists, there won't be an easy day in Serbia's life.

The End to Turmoil

And in a bit of local news, there may be light at the end of tunnel yet for me and my fellow eCanadians. Occupied for several months, the two govs reached an agreement last month, but due to issues, the plan was never set in motion. Now, once again, a deal has been put in place, and it remains to be seen whether or not Canada can return at long last. Godspeed, bros!

And yes, I know the terms, but they will remain private until the plan is either shot down or put in motion 🙂

Yeah, sup guys \o/

I've been up in Calgary for the past three weeks or so, hence the lack of noticeable activity. I've mostly been on IRC, pulling deals to get Canada into TWO stuff to happen, and just relaxing, talking to friends 🙂

I'm out of commission for around a week until the automobile takes me back home, so I thought I'd stop by and give a bit of a teaser. When I get back, writing time! And homework... 🙁 But writing! And CP in August please :3
