Last Goodbye - TUP

Day 404 is the last day I will consider myself a member of The Unity Party. It's been a hell of a ride, and I am definitely sad to be leaving it all behind. The members of TUP have always been great to me, the new and the old, but recently I've been sensing a lack of direction; we don't know whether we want to be moving forward or back and, to be honest, it's unsettling for me.

So I am stating my intentions to join PCP, who I've been interested in for a long time, but now seems the right time to be moving on. They have announced their Presidential candidate, Relic, and I feel that he is a man I can stand behind and help the PCP move forwards in this time of transition as Dish leaves us.

I would like to emphasize that this is no slight on TUP, who have been doing fantastically as of late and I wish them the best of luck, but I just think that my efforts would be better placed in the PCP, where I can have a greater impact in the upcoming month(s).

Finally, I just want to thank all the great TUP members who have helped me from the beggining, such as Alain Bates, malta, Alan Hammond, CBall and, especially Squiddy. Without him, I would certainly not be here.

So, leaving TUP behind, I want to welcome a new age under the banner of PCP!
