이리퍼블릭은 영어로 된 게임이고, 이 게임의 다양한 기능들을 뒤져보는게 너무 어렵고 귀찮다고 생각하는 사람이 많습니다. 게임을 한글로 번역하려는 시도는 전에도 몇 번 있었지만, 여러가지 이유로 계획은 매번 연기되었습니다.

1~2주 전에 인터넷에서 Japanese Translation team 이 만든 스크립트를 우연히 발견했습니다. 이거라면 이리퍼블릭을 한글로 번역하는 것이 한결 쉬워질 것이라고 생각했습니다. 저는 Japanese Translation team 에게 이 스크립트를 사용해도 된다는 허락을 받았고, 동시에, 번역 작업을 수행해줄 사람을 구할 수 있는지에 대해 eSK 정부와 연락을 취했습니다.

번역에서 편집 및 테스트까지의 과정은 모두 일주일 조금 넘게 걸렸습니다.

많은 분들이 번역 작업에 도움을 주셨고, 결과물을 얻을 수 있도록 도움 주신 모든 분들의 공로를 표창하고 싶습니다.

특히 영어를 한글로 번역하는 과정에서는 제가 미처 알지 못하는 분들이 너무너무 많이 참여해주셨기 때문에, 이름이 많이 빠졌습니다.(메세지를 주시면 리스트에 이름을 올려드리겠습니다.)

이 스크립트가 아직은 깔끔하지 않다는 것을 알고 있습니다. 오역도 많이 있지만, 이런 것들은 빠른 시일 내에 고칠 수 있도록 노력하겠습니다.

하지만 그렇게 하기 위해서는 더 많은 테스터의 도움이 필요합니다.

이 스크립트를 테스트해 보시려면, 파이어폭스나 구글크롬을 사용하셔야 합니다.

1. Greasemonkey 혹은 TamperMonkey라고 불리는 애드온을 다운로드 하십시오.
- 파이어폭스(Firefox)
- 구글크롬(Google Chrome)

2. 스크립트를 설치하십시오.
아래 주소로 들어가셔서 Install 버튼을 클릭하시면 설치하실 수 있습니다.

3. 설치가 완료되면 해당 스크립트가 켜져 있는지 꼭! 확인하십시오. 이제 게임에 로그인하시면, 게임의 많은 부분이 한글로 되어 있는 것을 보실 수 있습니다.

4. 버그, 잘못된 문법, 오탈자, 오역 등을 발견하시면 이곳에 코멘트를 남겨 주십시오.

Erepublik is an English based game, and in the past, we have a lot of people who find it difficult to explore the features in the game. There had been plans to translate the game into Korean, but due to many reasons. Those plans were delayed.

About 1-2 weeks ago, I stumbled across a script on the internet written by the the Japanese Translation team consists of blackca, and co. And I realised that this is something we can easier do for translating into Korean. I asked them for permission to use the code, and at the same time, I contacted the eSK government about the possibility of getting people who can do some translation for us.

The translation and editing and testing took just over a week to complete.

Many individuals helped us with the translation, and I want to recognise their work for making our final product possible.

I know I missed a lot of names, because there are so much other people that were involved particular for translation from English to Korean, that I don't know about. (You can message me to add your name onto the list)

I know the finished product is still very rough, and there are many mistranslations, this is what we will try to correct it in the near future.

But in order for that, we need more testers to help us out.

To do that, you will need to use Firefox or Google Chrome browser

1. Download an add-on called Greasemonkey or TamperMonkey in Chrome
- Firefox
- Google Chrome

2. Install the script
You can install the script from the below URL and then click on the Install button:

3. Ensure the script is turned ON, and login to the game as normal, you should notice the many elements on the UI in now written in Korean.

4. If you notice any bugs, or anything that is written in the wrong grammer, or wrong word, you can add a comment here.
