Na een afwezigheid van enkele maanden ben ik deze maand weer actief geworden in onze gemeenschap. Met het heroprichten van Democratisch Nederland vind ik dat de tijd weer is gekomen om volop deel te nemen aan het eNederlandse politieke gebeuren.

Daarom stel ik mij namens DemNL kandidaat voor het parlement!

DemNL heeft wederom een goed en helder programma opgesteld, waar ik volledig achter sta. Naast de bekende oude punten als meer openheid en verbetering van het medialandschap, heeft de partij haar buitenlandstandpunten vernieuwd.

Vooral op dit gebied hoop ik een steentje te kunnen bijdragen. Ik heb dan ook een bescheiden, doch belangrijke functie als eNederlands ambassadeur voor eOostenrijk en eZwitserland geaccepteerd. Hopelijk kan ik hiermee in ieder geval een kleine bijdrage leveren aan de intensivering en verbetering van onze buitenlandse contacten.

Ook het in het DemNL-programma opgenomen Ministerie van Educatie en Cultuur draag ik een warm hart toe. Zo’n ministerie kan niet alleen onze nieuwe burgers wegwijs maken in eRepublik, maar ook het plezier in het spel vergroten door onze burgers te trakteren op grappige artikels in de media. Een en ander moet natuurlijk verder uitgedacht worden als we daadwerkelijk een dergelijk ministerie op poten zetten.

Kortom: ik kijk er naar uit om weer mee te draaien in de politiek en iets voor alle burgers te kunnen betekenen. Met jullie hulp zal DemNL er hopelijk in slagen haar doelen te bereiken en ons land, stapje voor stapje, een betere plek te maken voor ons allemaal!

This month, after an absence of several months, I have again become active in our community. With the reestablishment of Democratic Netherlands, I feel that the time has come to join in on the eDutch political scene once more.

Therefore, I put forward my candidacy for Congress on behalf of DemNL!

DemNL has once again drawn up a good and distinct manifesto, which I wholly support. Alongside the old points of more openness and enhancement of the media landscape, the party has renewed its views on foreign policy.

On this matter especially, I hope to be able to do my part. I, therefore, have accepted a modest, although important position as eDutch ambassador to eAustria and eSwitzerland. By this, I hope to be able to make at least a small contribution to the intensification and improvement of our foreign relations.

In addition, I am sympathetic towards a Ministry of Education and Culture, as put forward in the DemNL manifesto. This ministry will not only help new citizens find their way in eRepublik, but it will also increase the pleasure in the game by treating our citizens to fun articles in the media. Naturally, these things will need to be thought out further if and when we really establish such a ministry.

In short: I am looking forward to participate in politics again and to mean something to all citizens. With your help, DemNL will hopefully succeed in achieving its goals and, step by step, making our country a better place for everyone!
