Jonathan Clay for President

Day 1,593, 01:36 Published in Belgium Belgium by Jonathan Clay

Fellow ebelgians,

Just last month I told former president Nohjis I wouldn't be running for president in the near future. Now Only one month later I see myself writing this article. What has happened to change my mind? eBelgium is facing some issues that need to be solved quickly.

1. Military reform

The former BAF (now BNA) needs to become a more effective MU. Recent weeks some changes have been made and the new General Critically is working hard and I would like to help him with that. The BTA has been succesfull over recent months and I would like to see this continue.

2. The Constitution and legislation.

Perhaps the most daunting and time-consuming task. I would like to review all previous eBelgian legislation and the constitution and see if there isn't a more logical structure that would benefit eBelgium. To achieve this help from congress is necessary so when I'm elected I would ask Congress to work with the government to do this. I already asked some people to look into this (one of them keeped asking for cheese as compensation). I know this isn't something you can achieve in one term but I would like to start the proces.

3. Foreign Affairs.

Some called the Neutrality of eBelgium a sign of weakness ( 😉 Konrad) I call it realpolitik. Right now eBelgium doesn't gain anything for joining an alliance. But I do say if a certain neighbour doesn't respect certain treaties they might force eBelgium in a certain direction and I won't hesitate to make such a decision.

These are only a few topics but those I would like to focus on if I'm elected. If you have further questions feel free to ask them in comment or PM.
If you would like to be a member of cabinet if I'm elected just pm me.

Greetings
Jonathan Clay,
CP candidate April for bfb
